Hey Makers Cultists!  I'm Happy to be spotlighted once more on TMC's Patreon and bring you some more flavours of Guard! This time the Byzantines come out to play, wielding enough speacial weapons to make the Basileus Blush. I'm really trying to branch out the roman theme through the ages, the classical age has been done now the early medieval is getting it's time to shine.  To match the decay of the Empire weapons are becoming more archaic and artisinal. Each an heirloomed treasure that is supplied by each recruits family in comparison to the clean, mass produced, utilitarianism of the Roma Ad Astra.

If you want to see more of the Byzantines and their Modular Genewarrior Elites Be sure to jump into my community discord! Everyone is welcome and it's there where I'll be showing off the newest kickstarter project coming this spring. From the toxic world of Heckgan, the Heckghost's are marshalling their industrial might. No more will the Imperium grind it's boot heel on proud Heckgan necks!

I can't like ThatEvilOne, and I do mean "can't". I'm always intrigued by each new release, and then...not. I'm not sure why. Anyone else feel the same? Anyone able to explain why they feel that way?

ThatEvilOne

If you manage to put your finger on it please do let me know. I'm always seeking to improve and make better sculpts!

I have his Lunar Auxilia line, and apart from issues with some of the presupported files I've loved them. One of my friends uses them as alpha legion legioneers because, well, alpha legion doesn't quite mesh well with GW's cultists. I do also like his emperors children, as i love their pre-heresy look and loathe post. So, not really no? I have seen that he's released split files as well now. Might buy a pack or two to test. Oh, and i use his roman legioneers as proxies in RPG as Severan Dominate troops. Had NO issues with them. And like their look.

Is there anywhere we can see the current releases for February? I'm very interested in sci-fi stuff based on the fall of the roman empire and the rise of early medieval kingdoms, but I'd like to actually have a look a the sculpts before backing.

ThatEvilOne

Discord has all the previews!

It's probably because the artwork looks the nuts and the figures don't look anything like it from this post at least. 😞

Sikander

Probably whatever I don't like is something your fans really value.

The models that match the artwork for this post are the Lunar Auxilia, which I think are on his MMF store.

Honest feedback: What's put me off hitting the Buy button on your stuff is the lack of any blurb or description on your product listings, plus the usually minimalist photos. What sort of troops in your setting do they represent? Are they monopose, multipart, separate heads? What nominal scale are they... 28mm, 32mm? Compared to similar minis from another gothic scifi setting are your genewarriors/power armoured troops sized to be oldscale/newscale/NewCSM/Truescale/Primescale? I really like the look of your designs and totally dig the Roman, now Eastern Roman historical vibe, but it's always been too much of a leap into the unknown when there's so many other alternatives competing for my hobby dollars. One last observation... someone on this comment thread asked what the Tribes minis for February were going to be and you directed them to join the Discord to find out. But when I'm browsing on MMF and see a Tribe still showing last month's offering on the 25th, I'm not going to be tempted to subscribe, nor put in the effort to join yet another Discord to find out. Discord's great for building a community and offering support, but it's like a physical shop's back room, and if the storefront looks abandoned, potential customers are going to pass you by. Best of luck.

All completely fair feedback DrVesuvius! I will admit that I hadn't even realized I the MMF Tribes Offering image wasn't updated and that's mainly due to me moving cross country this month. Absolutely my bad I'll get that fixed asap. As for Item blurbs thats absolutely something that can be added and I'll make a point of starting on that tomorrow.

I got this release when it was on kickstarter. TEO and TMC are really the og's of 3d printed models for wargamers. Without them, I don't think this hobby would be what it is today.
