I have to say, thank you to all of you for your kind words of love and encouragement. I was able to do the one thing I never thought possible and speak at my dad's funeral today. The overwhelming love I felt here helped me feel capable. I was even able to carry his urn and lead the procession from the church to his final resting place as his pallbearer. It wasn't easy, but I did the hard thing today. The hard thing I never wanted to have to do. But it was my greatest honor to be able to do it. Without the kindness of this community and gentle encouragement from others in places I would least expect, I did it. And I promise you, if I can do that, in the words of Kevin Garnet "Anything is possible!" 🖤🫂 I wish I could hug and thank each of you for real. But please know your kindness made a difference in a time where I swore I would NOT make it. Had you asked me a month ago, I would've told you if he goes, I do, too. That's how serious this was and how impactful simple kindness can be. Keep paying that forward and I hope it truly comes back to you all tenfold. 🖤🖤

Oh Alexis, i feel with you. I lost my dad when i've been 11. He have been 44. It is absolute okay to Not feel okay with life right now. To not function in this Situation.
