Hey lovelies,

I thought I'd fill you guys in on the latest. Let's start with the good news. I've got a bunch of audios done and will have the next QnA up today or tomorrow. I'm also working on some pretty neat merch if anyone's interested.

Now the bad. Youtube was demonetized, probably due to the last video. But, I'm gonna still keep posting the SFW content on schedule.  That being said, thanks for being here and supporting me now. x

PS: What kind of merch would you most enjoy? Comfy hoodies? Stretchy t-shirts, tank tops? Fill me in. x

Comments

Lindsey

hoodies pls 🙏🏾❤️

ppipim

to get a boyfriendaudio hoodie? id die :)

Jazmaine

Hooooooddieeeeeessssss for sure !

La

Hoodies! 😍

Vee

Youtube is so uncool for that, I'm sorry K. Hopefully they reverse that choice. As for merch I'm a sucker for pins and hoodies. I'm also a sucker for crop tops so t-shirts that i can later cut or straight up crop tops are also high on my list for merch I'd buy as well as prints of some iconic imagery from your audios like stargazing or lying on the bedroom floor from the moving out audio.

Tamara

All of the above merch options

That's NEED, Baby

Why would the latest audio cause de-monitization? Sorry to hear that!

That Anonymous Chocolate

Honestly YouTube just wants an excuse not to pay people... but hoodies would be nice but tank tops also sound nice 🤔😃 *goes back into gremlin cave*

Lain

Ruby

There was nothing wrong with that last audio! YouTube is cheap and horrible

okay kelsey

youtube literally demonetised for nothing like wtf 🙄

Caro

I personally not only like merche that you can wear but also have in your room. So I would love posters or pins. For things to wear I feel like hoodies is great option if they are soft. T-shirts are easier to make I believe so it comes down to what prices you want to put on the merch.

okay kelsey

Hoodie and tank top please I beg you

okay kelsey

I’ll for sure get both

andrea08

Youtube has such a weird algorithm :( I would definitely be up for wearing comfy hoodies or loose t-shirts from your merch !

as.seen.on.stevie

I literally had to sit and think "wait - what did he post?" Because it's literally nothing bad. YouTube is losing their minds. But! On the subject of merch, hoodies would be great. Soft and comfy and awesome. Also I'm sure you hear this a lot, but please take care of yourself. And thank you for all that you do.

Sarah

I think I'd like to see some enamel pins, a mug design and maybe some small art prints in the merch😊

Dance Of Oya

Hoodies ans sweatpants and some pins would be amazing

T 🤍

hoodie- have your glasses in the top left corner 🥺

Cherry644

Hoodies might be nice to have that cozy BF -feeling;) ..depending on what you want to print in them:)

Josy

Hoodies are a given, but I think tanktops would be really cute! :) Maybe a notebook to show off at uni? Sorry 'bout that demonitization btw! Hope you can get more Patrons on board ❤️

Van

hoodie, mugs, tote bags, etc as long as it is from you i'd love to have all of those

Shiina

Youtube is on some mess but anyway, I LIVE for comfy hoodies/sweatshirts! Tees are great too though 😎

Lauren

So sorry about the demonization K:( Youtube is just a complete mess. We’ll continue to support you all that we can and hopefully you can get more patrons on here❤️ I would definitely buy a cozy hoodie!!

Dahlia

I swear to god YouTube has lost their minds there was nothing wrong with that video but anyways I would love hoodies or pins maybe?

rgs

Yeah I’m confused too, the last one is so cute!

That's NEED, Baby

I’d love a cute sleep shirt that says “I Just Need Some Attention”

Andi.

I swear youtube is straight up messy, anyway. I love a comfy hoodie and tee❤️ honestly as long as its comfy 😁 pins are cool too.

Andrea

A hoodie would be nice :) also, sorry to hear about the demonetization! I hope more patreon members sign up to help you out in the mean time

Angel

Youtube is just being the snake that it is always been. I am sorry to hear that you got affected, K😓 As for merch, I love t-shirts and hoodies😊

Ray

Hoodies and cute enamel pins I can put on my bag, so I can roam the world and advertise 🤗🤗🤗

Miranda S

Hoodies would be great!

kathyz

pins&stickers!!!

lexi

Tank tops and any comfy sweats! I’m sad to hear about YouTube :( is there anything we can do to help in the meantime? Do you have a “tip jar”?

Coach Britt

Sorry to hear about YouTube! That’s lame-o! Anyway, Happy Canada Day!!

Ella

Oh no! 🥺 I'm so so so sorry that you got demonetized. 😢 But happy Canada Day K! And for the merch.. Hoodies, t-shirts and stickers would be very much appreciated! 😉

Anna Leigh

Hoodies and if you can--mugs! Can never have too many

Vinnya

Hoodies, t-shirts and maybe a bear plush xD Or a coffee mug!

idalis sabrina

hoodies and t shirts please. i’m sorry you got demonetized, screw youtube for that. oh and happy canada day! 🇨🇦

That's NEED, Baby

Hi Lexi, I don’t think there is a one time tip jar but in the app version of Patreon you can manually edit your pledge by clicking on the the dots (...) on the right hand upper corner of your screen. For example, if you are in the $10 tier, you can manually change the $10 to any amount that is higher and on the 8/1 billing he will receive the higher amount. That is what I did. Hope that helps.

Key

Oh no, I’m sorry YouTube is such a hot mess! 🥺 I’m a sucker for comfy hoodies and tank tops 😌

hadess

Ouu hoodies and sweatshirts

SpunkyCatNinja

First, sorry to hear about getting demonitized. I hope you fight for re-instatement. Second, Happy Canada Day. Also, I'm much more likely to buy a mug or a tshirt.

Pendragon

I'm so sorry about YouTube. Thats fucked up. 😔. For merch, maybe the t shirts and tanks? Maybe some crop tops?

Caroline

What?! The last YouTube video was so wholesome! I wonder why that would cause it to be demonetized? Hopefully you can get everything sorted out, though 🤞 As for merch, I’m kinda a sucker for the kind of non-branded artsy merch Dan and Phil have. Instead of just putting “Dan and Phil” text across a t-shirt, they have really nice designs like galaxy and floral prints, stuff you’d probably buy in an H&M (or Forever 21. Take your pick lol). Minimalist design like the outline of their hairstyles. My favorite shirt of theirs just features the outline of them walking near cherry blossom trees with “Dan and Phil” written in Japanese. Several people who don’t even watch their videos have wanted to know where I got the shirt since it’s so artistic and aesthetically pleasing! I just don’t like looking too much like a billboard haha Maybe have something with hearts on it? Never said I was a graphic designer LOL. I’m a sucker for a good floral pattern. Also love the idea of stickers since I collect them like crazy. Good vibes from Texas ❤️

Rebecca Kauffman

So sorry about Youtube, thats terrible ☹ I wonder why though, your last video was amazing! For merch, hoodies, stickers, or tank tops! Looking forward to seeing what see designs you have! 😃

Marmie Noir

Youtube is demonetizing so many ASMR artists. :( Same as everyone else though, comfy hoodie or tee :)

Kayla Day

Hey K, I’m sorry to hear about YouTube. It seems that quite a few ASMR channels are being demonized lately even with consistent content. I know some creators where able to gain monetization again, it might not hurt to reach out to your fellow creators see what they did. I really hope you are able to work it out and get monetized. 💕

Victoria M

Comfy sweatshirt that says "for best results comfort regularly" or a tee that says "super sad panda mode" with a panda wearing your glasses design

Ali

I'm sorry about YouTube. I'd love a comfy hoodie and tank

Kawaii

I’m so sorry youtube was demonetized! You deserve so much success! What did youtube not like about the last video? I really liked that one. Is there anything we can do help? Can I write to youtube? Merch . . . I can’t buy anything with Boyfriend Audio logo . . . nothing that would raise questions. I keep my pretend boyfriend super private. If the merch was more discreet I’d be interested . . . like clothes with a small picture of a soggy wet koala or a blanket caterpillar. What size of sweatshirt do you wear? I want that size of men’s hoodie. Also if you chose cute panties that you like I’d love to wear them (but they can’t say Boyfriend Audio for awkward reasons). You often mention a girl in a cute T-shirt. What makes a T-shirt cute to you? What is the cut like? Is it tight? Is it low cut? Does it have a graphic or is it just simple? What colour is it? Sell us the T-shirt. And your T-shirt. We often wear that in the audios. Sell us a men’s T-shirt so we can wear it at night and fall asleep to your voice. Also the boxers you put in the microwave that come with the period panda — we want those. I like items that line up with the story lines. 😊 Have you considered product placement? I’m sure that if you mentioned you wear a particular brand of deodorant or use a certain kind of soap in a YouTube audio we’d all buy it just to smell it. You talk a lot about fast food on YouTube. If you started mentioning specific pizza places you bet we’d plan a night in to order that kind of pizza and listen to your audios that mention pizza. If you mentioned a brand of vibrator in Patreon we would all want that vibrator. You have a lot of influence. Could you get some company promotions for product placement? We won’t mind as long as they are brands you actually like. I know you could write brands into your scripts well so it doesn’t disrupt the good feels.

Kawaii

Yes! Cute things that don’t give away my pretend boyfriend!

Kawaii

Can the packaging be discreet and can the sender address just say something like BA not Boyfriendaudio?

Jj

I'm so sorry about your YouTube channel. 😨 But maybe you could advertise your patron in your videos so that people will know that you make nsfw versions. Your content is amazing so I'm that people would be willing to pay. As far as merch goes I would love a hoodie or even pajama shorts if your up for it. 💗

Bribri

I'm sorry about youtube. I'm happy I can help support you here :) comfy oversized hoodies and stretchy t-shirts ❤

momo

hoodies or sweaters sound good lol

momo

Or pins :>

la belle dame sans merci

I’m a hoe for a good hoodie 🥺❤️ I think tank tops would be neat too 😊❤️ ily

Kawaii

I’m maybe revealing how obsessed I am, but I want a letter in your handwriting. It can even be a copy. I dabble in graphology and I want to analyze your handwriting. 🥺👉👈

Jeanne

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear that your YouTube is getting demonitized. It always sucks when you hear about this happening to content creators that we look up to... 😢 Secondly, I'm ecstatic that you're working on some merch! 😀 Shirts and hoodies are great and all, but I personally would very much like to see some mugs or stickers in the mix -- that's just me though, lol 😅 Thirdly, look forward to another Q&A! 🤗

That's NEED, Baby

Yes! And they should say “princess parts” or “slay it” 😬

Anna McCabe

Princess parts...makes me wanna d i e

Summer

Sending love K! I’m sorry about your YouTube getting demonetized! I’m so excited to listen to the new q&a!!! You are so good to us!😊 also, we. Need. Hoodies. I’d die of happiness!😆

Kathy Mc

The last video was super sweet and adorable!! What the hell is wrong with those bean counters?? I'm so sorry that happened to you. I will support you all I can on Patreon. I can up my monthly amount, if that helps. I would love an oversized t shirt to wear to bed. Or an actual nightshirt. Happy Canada Day K! Much love always!!😚😚😚💓💕💕💖💖💞

Coach Britt

You’re obviously going to appeal the YouTube demonetization, right?

Crystal

I’m so sorry about YouTube 😭 I’m glad we can support you here! For merch, tank tops! I live in the desert so a hoodie would probably kill me lol even in the “winter” 🤗 someone mentioned mugs or stickers which I’m so down for too.

Buttercup

I like what you said!

Kaitlen MacDonald

DAH-ling, we simply MUST have a link to your virtual tip jar, or PayPal/Venmo so we can keep supporting you!

Meredith Marie

Why in the world would YouTube want to demonitize you because of the last video? There wasn't anything wrong with it. Honestly, I think these people are jerks. There is content on YouTube far more controversial than anything you've ever put up. I hope you appeal this, it's utter nonsense. HOODIES!!!!! And tshirts....and anything. EVERYTHING!!!! I'm so aching for merch. Mugs. Stickers. Pins. Socks. Key chains.

Jenn (Preemie Cuddler)

I joined today to support you for all the comfort you’ve given me through your YT channel. It’s crazy how much destruction is monetized, yet they won’t recognize and reward channels like yours for its positivity and self esteem boosting qualities you contribute to us! You are amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!💋💘

Montana Destiny

I’m so upset to hear about your channel K. I’ve enjoyed every single video you’ve posted and they help so much. As for merch I’d buy it all. Hoodie, t-shirt, sweatpants, anything! I’d buy and wear it proudly 🥰

Saya

I love big shirts and hoodies 😍

Kawaii

Slay it! Yes!

Kawaii

I like good quality clothes and will pay more for them. Flattering cuts, natural fabrics etc. . . so don’t feel you have to go with cheep quality printed T-shirts to make sales.

Sophia Madelone

Wow I can’t believe that happened... all of the audios are so comforting and positive... and oversized hoodies are the best 💜

jordan ♡

Us patrons will carry over what yt took, I still cant believe this is happening to you. About merch, which I would love to see and support you with, I'd love to cozy up in a sweatshirt from you, sounds like a quarantine night in couldn't get any better 💕

BoyfriendAudio

It'll work out, thanks! Yeah I'm excited too. My friend is a clothing designer, soo I hope they turn out alright. :)

BoyfriendAudio

I'm trying to find a supplier that's reputable, has premium, eco-friendly, as well as more affordable options. :)

BoyfriendAudio

I'm not sure, maybe "staying the night" I dunno, just youtube.

daniii

Definitely hoodies or zip up sweaters 🥺 maybe w/ like a simple design ? Idk about everyone else but I like simplicity on clothes, especially for merch.

BoyfriendAudio

No tip jar, I'm just happy you're here. x thank you

BoyfriendAudio

I'm aiming for the same thing. My friend is a clothes designer working in Tokyo, and she's definitely schooling me in what merch should look like. x

BoyfriendAudio

thanks for the feedback. Nothing is going to have BoyfriendAudio actually written on it. I'm not a huge fan of having brands splayed on me either. Discretion is key. x

Kawaii

That sounds great!

K’s Sweetheart

T-shirts & sweats , maybe even a hoodie 💓💓💓

Ezza

Would love shorts or hoddies, stuff that’s good to sleep in or super comfy would be awesome!

simp city

I'm so sorry about YT being like this. You're so talented and sweet and you deserve all the awards. 💜💜 Merch wise I would love to see oversized shirts and maybe a baseball cap?

bone x flower

Hoodies....and it sucks about being demonetized...we got you though

Rana

I'm so sorry about YouTube being such a hater your audios are amazing and you really don't deserve to be demonetized :( ... Also comfy hoodies and thigh high socks or and mugs will be really cool ❤️

Mandarine

I'm a lil bit late but i would love have a hoodie from you so bad, matched with the coffee mug maybe haha ?

DTaylor

How about K’s Kittens? LOL

Suzie Strike

Comfy hoodies all the way!!!

hospice ‘

i never really am able to afford youtubers merchandise because of my tight budget for things that i enjoy, so any merch that’s affordable and not waaaay outdone haha. maybe something subtle that doesn’t scream ‘i- to-boyfriendaudio-because-i’m-lonely’ lolol. ❤️❤️❤️

Alexis

How about putting the glasses logo on like t-shirts or sweats?? 🤓🤩

smiley ♡

Will you be monetized again? Why was it demonetized though?

smiley ♡

Also, is the video that caused this here on Patreon?

Andrea Padilla

I’m so sorry YouTube got demonetized for you. You do such a good work making a lot of people feel safe and loved. I really do wish the best for you. And about the merch, ..🤔 maybe a little bit of everything? Is the store up or is it still in development?

Mae

omgosh merch 👀 yes. Stretchy boyfriend tees/nightshirts, hoodies, phrase stickers, logo stickers, make a body branding logo and do wash off tattoos.....
