You could try doing a two stage vote, round one as normal on Patreon and then the top two for round two, that way people can't complain about close votes for the top two (Would really prefer not to take things off Patreon)

The griping was just silliness and snark, most of us displacing our fascism-rising anxiety into aggro humor in the comments section of Bee Movie Versus Star Wars, just looking to make our cohort chuckle and go "Man, these people take this way too seriously." Keep taking your toddler back to the botanical gardens--they've gotta be at the right age for that to be an absolute HOOT--and don't worry about rewiring democracy for us riddiots. 💞

I don't think they were saying it should bee that way because it's animated. More that it was rated Bee G and none of the buzz around it was actually marketed towards adults. Not that it would shake out any differently otherwise. Since the only bumblebrains who might enjoy this movie are just the type of swarmies who'd pollinate all of bee media with their terrible halfhearted puns. Not to paint such a black-and-yellow picture; no comb is a bee monolith. I just don't beelieve it would make a difference to that kind of philisting, no matter what kind of movie they were expecting going in (with their butts).

I fully subscribe to the theory that Larry David specifically wrote Seinfeld as a joke to show how much of an unfunny hack Jerry is, and Jerry never got that the joke was on him. Anyway the best Seinfeld joke I ever heard was, “A hack a pedophile and a Zionist walk into a bar, and the bar tender says, What’ll it be Mr. Seinfeld?”
