I work in IT and support a lot of elders. I've literally witnessed Adal's "let me go to yahoo and type in google..." multiple times. I also had one poor client whose house I was at. The landline was ringing nonstop. She told me it was all people asking for money and she'd finally stopped giving them money (good job Helen!!!) but when I told her it was 100% okay NOT to answer the phone (the landline had caller ID and earmarked it all as spam), she was shocked. To her credit she took that permission and did not answer at least two more calls while I was there!
