I also thought of Faulty Towers too! Why did we both have the same weird connection??

Although I don’t think you’ll see you the crab walking background kid again you won’t be lacking in delightfully weird dancing in this show. Hope you all warmed up to it and finished the series. Fingers crossed for a review for episode 2 🤞

Biggest mystery in twin peaks is Crunchies cereal!

So Adal, the dancing guy in the school, bear with me here... There's a 4 hour video on YouTube explaining all of Twin Peaks, and to be fair I've only made it through a couple hours, but the short version is that the show itself is aware that it is a show and that kid is part of the message that the show knows it is a show because he personifies "the airwaves" that tv is transmitted over. And as insane as all of that sounds it makes sense in the way that it's explained with all the other evidence.

The Dark Tower series is totally trash & also a great example of why one shouldn't abuse cocaine

Would love to hear the Review Crew's thoughts on Kentucky Route Zero! On Switch, PC, Xbox, PS4, sort of a point-n-click adventure, magical realism mystery. It's a pretty big time commitment (would maybe be 8 hours?), so totally get why that would be a barrier.

I have to disagree completely with JPC about the Dark Tower. I wonder, is it the ending that bugs you so much?

I think I've tried 5 times to watch and get into Twin Peaks and … I just can't do it. I don't mind Lynch's work in general, but for whatever reason I just can't seem to connect with the show.

My 90s heart is so happy right now!!! I need to paint my nails a deep burgundy and wear plaid skirts & sway moodily.

I'm kind of sad that you guys didn't like it more, but I completely understand why. Lynch's approach is purely emotional, so there tends to be weird dream logic in his stuff. It's one of those love-it-or-hate-it kinds of things.

That monkey talking with David Lynch was mind-bending

Erin manically half singing/half mumbling "theres several different types of cats" has ended me

Between this and High Riddle Riddle, Erin's audio clips are quickly becoming my new favorite segment!

If there was a $10 level, just to get Erin singing excitedly along with movie musicals, I'd be down for it.
