Chris Evans in a sweater. Drops mic.

Damn. This is the first Review Crew where I feel compelled to watch the subject before listening. Now I gotta figure out where to get it in New Zealand.

It genuinely blows me away how tied together the mystery and characters are. Like, the final twist that Marta didn't kill Harlan because she was so good at her job is so well executed and cathartic that it makes me happy just thinking about it. So good. One of my friends said the plot was bad an I wanted to reach through my phone and strangle them.

Sarah Owen

I went into this movie blind, not having seen the trailer or knowing anything about it. When Daniel Craig appeared on screen the last thing I expected was a Foghorn Leghorn accent. That was probably my favorite moment of the movie. It was so good.

Sarah Fulk

I would just like to point out that this is not the first time that he has done a southern accent. Highly recommend Logan Lucky. It's a heist movie and honestly, 10 out of 10.

The one thing I didn't like about this film is that if you pay attention to the mystery it's easy to solve it very early on as one detail points directly to one particular character and isn't addressed again until the big reveal. Also in regards to most type casted actors: Michael Cera as an awkward bumblefuck and Sigourney Weaver as foulmouthed sci-fi lead.

As much as I loved Daniel Craig's accent and how much fun he was clearly having doing it, it being present in a murder mystery did have me on edge the whole time waiting for the twist that it was a fake accent because he was pulling an Agatha Christie and he wasn't the real inspector.

Also I gotta say, hearing you all happy is nice, but hearing you review awful stuff is nicer.

Oh and also also, Paul Giamatti most typecast actor.

HalfLighter

Holy shit that movie was amazing. I wasn't expecting to cry as much as I did, but I couldn't help myself every time Marta was in trouble. Just... wow.

Other Marvel double dipper: Josh Brolin — Thanos and Cable

Rose Dolbashian

My husband and I took my 13 year old cousin (and fellow Agatha Christie fan) to see this, and it was so delightful. My favorite detail was just how perfect the costumes were *chef’s kiss*

iimmyykk

“S is the best class of horse in Dynasty Warriors 4” holy shit

aVividRose

Megan Fox was the most type cat actor without a doubt

Chris Evans isn’t the only double dipper he isn’t even the only double dipper who played the human torch, MBJ also double dipped

Thomas Degroat

Bianca Lawson is one of the most typecast actors. She’s been playing sidekick to main character in high school drama series for over 30 years?

John Rowland

I watched my mom get treated like an an idiot for her southern accent my entire childhood. I know there are a lot more important issues but things like this keep kids in the south insecure about their speech and keeps them feeling like outsiders to the rest of the country. We aren't cartoon people.
