I don't really agree with Kitty's judgements. The guy who hired them's family had gone riddle crazy. They were poisoned and he had no idea how to help them so he left and immediately sought out someone to help. What else was he supposed to do? If he had stayed he'd have been poisoned, too, and then there would've been nobody to help. And the poor prospector guy only killed his partner because his mind was poisoned. Another few minutes without peeing and Kitty would've been acting the same way. He was a victim in all this, too.
