Time for some fun candy facts: (1) The reason why Hershey “kisses” are called that is because when the chocolate comes out of the factory machine, it makes a kiss sound. (2) So the DumDums mystery flavor is actually quite interesting. Basically, when a batch of a particular flavor, let’s say Orange for example, is being produced, and the last batch for that flavor is completed, but the Orange batter left isn’t enough for a whole new batch, they’ll mix in a new flavor, let’s say Watermelon for example, and they’ll start a batch of mystery flavor until the first flavor batter has run out, and then the new flavor batch will begin. So to sum it up, mystery flavor is just a combination of two random flavors because the company doesn’t want to waste excess batter between each flavor batch.

I am losing my mind googling trying to figure out if its a reference to something, and I can't find anything. It seems like such a familiar story, what is it!?

In the UK and Ireland, smarties are basically M&Ms with better tasting chocolate inside. I was very confused about all the smarties content until I googled. Over here they'd be comparable to Parma Violets. Which are gross. Also those "lollipops" which are basically chalk on a stick. Gross.

JPC saying he doesn’t understand why there’s sour flavors when there’s chocolate is so funny to me. I hate most chocolate unless it’s very dark and love sour candies the most. I also can’t stand mint or caramel so I pretty much only eat sour or fruity candy. Also, Adal is right about smarties.
