I hate to be a pedantic jerk, but the word Adal was referring to around 29:00 is “sempai” (also spelled “senpai”), which is used in Japanese to refer to someone who is older or more experienced than you in a field or organization. In anime, it’s often used by younger students to refer to older students. The word Thomas is thinking of is “sensei”, which means teacher or master.

What bugs me so much about the Kermit change is that Disney already has a perfect Kermit on staff. Disneyland's puppet master/director was a groomsman in my sister's wedding because he trained and was friends with my brother in law. He and my sister schemed to put on a special performance at the reception. He checked out an official Kermit puppet from Disney and Kermit and my sister sang Rainbow Connection together to surprise her husband. Kermit went around and talked to a few people at the reception and his voice was flawless.

"Notice me Senpai" is a meme/phrase originating from anime. In Japan, the upperclassmen is referred to as Senpai while the underclassmen are Kouhei. "Notice me Senpai" is usually said by the underclassmen who has a crush on the Senpai and wants their attention.

The final bit had me thinking of a supervillain named Dead Stop that can stop time whenever someone says something embarrassing. They can only unfreeze time for themselves if they give a convincing argument to back up what they just said
