Summer's over? So what? Who cares? We're still talking BBQs! And Adal and Erin have to compete to build a BBQ fit for a Daddy. An Audio Daddy. It's another one of JPC sick and twisted little games and this one is all about food. See you all next BBQ season!

One of the GOAT episodes. Delightful to listen every once in a while. Adal and Erin both put in excellent performances, the pre-game banter is good, and the draft itself is a lot of fun. I burst out laughing the first time I heard this when JPC got to the last category, and I'm still snickering like a cartoon dog on re-listens when I get to Erin and Adal's reactions to it.

My big bbq menu when the family and friends are over: Pork, fennel and pumpkin snags. A few porterhouse steaks, hickory (dry rubbed) butterflied chicken tits. Deviled eggs. Corn on the cob. Garlic butter whole button mushies. Potato bake. Home-made focaccia (boccincini, basil and cherry toms). Big salad (lettuce, tomato, feta, olives, pomegranate and a squeeze of lemon). Desert is caramelised banana and ice cream. Lots of ciders!

Best red meat replacement for me is the Impossible Spicy Sausage. Better than their hamburger - fry it up with garlic, and rehydrated shiitake mushrooms for those glutamates. Great for dumpling / gyro / cheesesteak style stuff.
