OH GOD IS TODAY THURSDAY??? DO I HAVE TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW????

Nemo

in many ways Thomas & Friends is the original Cars, except instead of a world of humanless machines they're about a magical land where the British working class still know their place and benevolent industrialists keep the evils of nationalised rail at bay also the toy JPC remembers is called Brio and it rocks. yes i do still have a conductor hat

HalfLighter

If you guys are pressed for material, then I for one would love for you to go back and revisit the Dennis Farina Unsolved Mysteries episodes, or the Mary Kate and Ashley mysteries. Or even just no-context reviews of the final episodes of some of the shows you’ve done Episode 1 reviews for.

Maggie R.

"We've got ten minutes left..." 😐 Erin's audition made me cry laughing.

Mario B

While I do prefer when you review bad things, if you're looking for something old and good, I'd suggest the mystery movie The Thin Man. It's from the 30s, but it still holds up.

The Hero Nuggets

Shout out to JPC for really keeping the review... on track.

Carly Ghee

I’m getting Thomas the Spank Engine tattooed on my forehead

Sean M Carrick

I used to watch Thomas with my kids, and was baffled when you mentioned it being animated. Watched a couple minutes of modern Thomas, and was aghast. This is what Thomas looked like for the first 20 years, when it was just models (and narrated by Ringo): https://youtu.be/b3g4n0tPpHo Couple pieces of trivia: -Was originally called Shining Time Station -The train conductor was also portrayed by Alec Baldwin and GEORGE CARLIN. -Had one theatrical movie "Thomas and the Magic Railroad", that starred Alec Baldwin, Peter Fonda, and Mara Wilson. Was universally hated, but is a fun so-bad-it's-good movie.

Beat

if you're feeling like you're running out of options it might be good to consider putting second place options from previous polls on new ones, or something

Theodoras Chunderbottom

I was screaming at my phone haha. George Carlin being the conductor is one of my favorite castings, it’s like Bob Saget as Danny Tanner

jollytheoldsaint

Cheat code for Erin: regular episodes end with Jupiter. Clue Crew episodes end with Neptune. And Review Crew episodes end with you having to make something up, since you can never possibly remember. I hope this helps. ^,^

Laura Brun

"he's half top-em hat" made me literally fall over from laughing

ACB

I'd like to point out the one piece of IMDb trivia for this movie: "The movie aired in Canada on October 8th 2022, 70 years after the Harrow And Wealdstone Rail Disaster in 1952."

Eli Bunke

“Shining Time Station” was a US show that incorporated segments of the original UK “Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends”

Borus Swarnsworth

Seconding the idea for a poll full of second place options from the past! A feisty losers bracket would really hit the spot, personally.

Trillium Forge

I think it came up during the review of untitled goose game, but how about a review of katamari damacy?

Mark

Yeah, confused the he'll out of me too, was expecting the Ringo Starr stop motion version

Beniam ''Benny'' Hollman

hearing Adal say "drill dick" made me think you guys should review the wild anime film that is Dead Leaves

Tentavision

Thomas has always been capitalist propaganda, its a recurring plotpoint that the trains are only good if they're Useful, and if they do bad at their jobs they will be sent to the scrap heap and LITERALLY, ACTUALLY MURDERED. there are multiple episodes where thomas is like "oh no I did a bad job, what if they send me to the scrap heap and EXECUTE ME!!!"

riss

I've never heard the mob song but it's been stuck in my head since you played it 😅 Will I ever listen to this song or watch the my little pony movie? No. Will this 5 second clip of the chorus continue to live on in my brain for the rest of eternity? Yes. Am I mad about it? Not one bit. So catchy like idk how people make these earworms

Ian McMahan

i used to work with special needs kids in a latchkey program and there was a particular guy I used to hang with that watched thomas and friends all day and when I'm in the sterile quiet of a government building or doctors office the theme song starts playing in the back of my head

Hannah Cohen

Can you guys please do a review crew for Bluey 🙏
