Genuinely my favorite game of all time. I'm not gonna listen to the whole podcast because I'm trying to forget as much as possible so I can play it again someday. Haha.

Paul Commane

I think you would all enjoy the game "The Case of the Golden Idol". Similar concept, with tableaus frozen in time and you need to figure out what happened, but rather than first person it's more of a point and click adventure game.

Charlie

I think Erin would really like Case of the Golden Idol, because it's very similar to this game but with way more interpersonal drama and way less motion sickness.

Marcus Barainyak

Great game, and It would be good for Erin’s motion sickness!

Ivan de Boulloche

There's also a free game called "The Roottrees are dead" that is inspired by Obra Dinn, with no motion sickness. It's great.

Max

Dennys episode in march? We might hold you to that, though you never said what year 🤷

Legotti

I’d love to see the clue crew try to crack a cold case. You’ve done a bit before with the Boston museum theft chat. Review the evidence of a cold case and see if your lateral thinking brain has a theory!

B

Came here to suggest this as well, it has more of the inner personal game of thrones stuff Erin wanted while being similar gameplay wise.

BassToad

Tunic might be a fun one to try out! It's also kinda a puzzle game where you're trying to learn a game without the manual. Outer Wilds would also be great, but Erin would unfortunately get serious motion sickness from it.

Kingsley Houston

Her Story would be another good game to have a go at, kind of similar in the deductive parts and good to play with a partner/friend. Would recommend having a notebook to hand. Also there's literally no motion to make Erin sick.

jollytheoldsaint

Obra Dinn' I see you here before? ...See, because it's the return...

AusTin

My suggestion for a future game selection would be Monument Valley and it’s sequel. They’re brain-teasery without being overly complicated, can be completed in an evening, but are still truly gorgeous and moving, with subtle but profound plots. (Also, I doubt there’s any way they would make Erin nauseous

I feel like the game “Chants of Sennaar” is a good brain bendy puzzle like game, if you guys ever decide to do another video game review

Laura Brun

been listening to old eps and you all really wanted listeners to get in the comments and bug yall to do more restaurant review so here I am with a message from you from the past: review more restaurants pity please!!! (Cracker barrel????)

Nat Luvvy

Never connected how perfect this game is for this podcast. It’s essentially a large escape room! So glad you guys enjoyed it, even if it wasn’t for everyone, as it was one of my favorite games too for so many reasons :)

Sean Boyle

Finally! A game that lets you play as ine if the true good guys of history. An insurance adjuster from the East India Trading Co.

Me waiting *checks watch* 3 more years from when this was posted for this game to go on sale to finally play it and get to listen to this episode 🥲
