Just knowing the last words cxs said began with lg's name and his last action was to pass the his power...let's not forget his cause of death being protecting lg... yeah I know a lot of people doubted his affection back when he refused to dive to 'save lg' but this right there was peak romance. You can hear how he's in agony but his first and last thought was protecting lg💔

The three 'I am oks' really had the best voice acting. In the first, he says it mindlessly in grief, in the second, he has realised this is cxs, younger but still cxs and he rushes to comfort him. In the third, he has finally accepted that yes, he's back and cxs is alive...that things and he'll be OK now. We all really cried about this back then you can hear three different emotions!

I really love how lg told cxs that his kindness isn't the problem...its just that the world is too horrible to be able to appreciate the kindness cxs gives and cxs is usually paid back badly. It was fun seeing lg so protective of cxs' mental well being because he basically just said 'almost everyone in the world is bad but you're pure goodness'. This is also referenced in s1...lg tells ql he's attracted to cxs' naivety. So he'll do his best to protect that.

But this episode did reveal that kindness does come back. Cxs told lg maybe Vivian could be one of the good scammers... he was right. She knew she couldn't escape, she lied to cxs she had it covered and told him and lg to run. Like this, she saved their lives and paid back cxs for how kind he was to her and I like that. I like that any woman cxs is around starts seeing him as some brother they should protect. First it was ql, then it was xixi...there's also Vivian. He really is very brother shaped, isn't he?

Lg is a romantic of epic proportions in yingdu and only cxs being blind to the heart eyes directed at him can't see it. He doesn't even know he cares for lg just as much and even ql pointed out his jealousy, and Vivian saw his protectiveness! And then there's lg...a whole different level of obsessively in love istg

This arc isn't just prime shipping material, its also peak sibling material. Cxs and ql are so cute! Some relatable but sweet sibling things they did in the episode: Ql teasing cxs about losing to her as a kid and betting with cxs. cxs pointed at ql and made fun of her at the con before deciding that if he could rewind time, the first thing he'd do was get the game back cuz ql looked sad. Ql teasing cxs on his jealousy then laughing at his dress picture. He said he was tired and didn't want to find smm but then he saw ql wanting to go off on her own to find her and suddenly he's getting up and saying he'd help, saying he can't leave ql and smm with regrets. Ql saying she'd treat him for his troubles at the con. Ql calling cxs out on making lg do chores for the studio while she herself was also working. Then in front of zx, his eyes tracked ql and his smile widened when she was happy she got the game back before he teased her. Then going shoulder to shoulder with ql to pressure zx into giving Vivian's info. Then pouting at lg to use his ability and speaking in sync. Cxs telling lg he'd be OK because ql would be there too (it seemed like he's well aware she'll beat the shit out of anyone who hurt him amd has confidence in her abilities). Ql giving in to cxs after he decides they should do a group picture and sounding so indulgent... PEAK SIBLINGS!

Bisexuality or just 'liking girls' is a common censorship trope for characters who act obviously gay. Many Chinese characters even in bl start out thinking they're straight and flirting with girls because that's what they think they should feel and do and thats what society makes them feel is 'normal'. Because of china's anti Igbt stance, compulsive heterosexuality (comphet) is very visible in Chinese characters because portraying them as openly gay would trigger censorship. Cxs is also a photographer and he finds beauty in everything, men women, scenery, animals, etc. This is also a reason why he said 'no one can deny beauty' when ql insinuated he was being a typical teen chasing girls. Both of these factors make cxs look bi although his sexuality will never be confirmed as anything but straight (unless Ih0 decides to be bold af and hide some more disguised gay stuff that officialises his relationship with Ig) because of censorship

Remember the positioning of the bullet. It's the same place he's shot at in the end of s2 and lg goes apeshit. Lg has a flashback response to the gunshot that once killed cxs and yet in s2, cxs has no issues recovering from this even after the long fight with qj and ltc. Its the same area. Which means the gunshot wasn't fatal, the actions after that determined his fate

What I love about this whole episode is how subtle lg shows his possessiveness over cxs. lol. And since cxs hasn’t known him for long. He’s totally unaware!

I've seen a lot of people say lg's feelings are unrequited because cxs didn't dive to bring him back while lg did. But here we got clear evidence that cxs loves him just as much. Cxs grew up here. No matter how much research Vein did, cxs knows this area and the studio like the back of his hand. He could've escaped. But the person who couldn't escape because he only moved in a few years ago was lg. So cxs saved lg while grieving ql and xl and being injured. There's also the fact that after lg led cxs in the dark room and they fell, cxs didn't make a sound. It let lg focus on the task of locking the door only after which cxs spoke his last words. Even then, he protected lg by not distracting him💔

Also what always flabbergasts me is why the english subtitles dont translate text anywhere. I was so confused because in German everything written is also translated. I feel like you miss so much subtext because of this its infuriating!

Bilibili translates them during live airing but it's only limited to bilibili...like the e6 ending text...you know which one...I watched on bilibili so i saw the text but everywhere else it wasnt there and people used their outfits to determine what year it was lol
