It has been weirdly nostalgia filled months for me so far. I'm not exactly sure why. But it inspired me to make a small comic out of this.

This is more of a personal comic, and it's something that's very close and dear to my heart <3

You didn't have to call me out like this. Man I've been collecting some physical media of things I loved and ruined as a kid. A small collection of things that shaped me. It feels like its the last vestiges of owning something that was truly mine. Even though I have digital copies and such with ease.

I've been trying to build a DVD/Blu-ray physical collection for a while now since digital isn't as reliable as it was once pitched to be

I miss those old days of mall exploring. So many stores and it was like a fun little adventure. Looking for what you wanted and finding so much more along the way.

Incredibly relatable! I was young when I'd go to these stores, so I don't even buy anything. But I didn't care! I just want to look at stuff and see what's out there! Heck, I still do, like existing game stores, or figurine stores, or toy stores (this one is just to see what kids have these days. There's a virtual pet thing with a hole for your finger so you can actually pet it! Ain't that cool~)

Me too! For now, it's mostly for video games. Though, even that is dying because most, if not all, of the game content is to be downloaded from the internet. I really wanted to have a disc collection, since I have a PS5 with a disc reader, so it can play Blu Ray discs. It's just that I haven't gotten the pleasure to buy any yet ; w ;

'ruined as a kid'? What do you mean by that? Like you watch it too much that you ended up ruining it? Maybe you're talking about VCR...? And for the last sentence, yeah. We've come so far now that we can practically stream 4K Blu-Ray *immediately*. Honestly, I would still do stream music even though I have a physical disk for it. Because through it, I can keep supporting the artists/bands that I like.

Like I watched it too much like VHS, scratched up CDs or it got destroyed by family or the family dog.
