Chapter 103: Eat My Bladestorm! Tokyo Fierce Ghost Gang Annihilated (Patreon)

Meanwhile, in midair, Kazama Ruri threw up a hand to shield his eyes from the glaring light. The bones in his body cracked and popped as he slipped into the Dragon Bone State, and his physical abilities surged in an instant.
The few Speech Spirits that struck him would do nothing worse than leave a few cuts on his skin.
His legs exploded with force, stomping a hybrid's head flat. Pushing through Speech Spirits and bullets alike, he vaulted onto the stage and brought his katana down on Osho in midair!
Osho instinctively raised a hand, baring his transformed dragon arm to block the blade.
But Kazama Ruri, in the Dragon Bone State, hit with astonishing strength, and the blade in his hand was an alchemic sword. A Death Servitor's body had no hope of stopping it.
The katana went through Osho's raised arm like a hot knife through butter, meeting no resistance at all.
Osho let out a howl laced with fury and tried to pull back. He hadn't sent the message back yet. He couldn't die!
The thought flared up in Osho's mind, but there was no time to dwell on it. Kazama Ruri's blade was already falling toward his skull.
Osho only managed to stagger back a few steps, using the moment his arm bought him.
Even so, the blade drew a line from his scalp down across his cheek.
The mask split cleanly in two, exposing an ugly Death Servitor face covered in dragon scales. A line of blood welled up along it.
"How can this be? Osho is a Death Servitor!?"
"Could it be that Osho can already keep his mind intact in the Oni state?"
"No good, stop the Shadow Emperor, quick! We can't let him kill Osho! He's the hope of the Fierce Ghosts!"
The hybrids were startled when they saw Osho's true face, and then delighted.
The hybrids who joined the Fierce Ghosts were Ghosts-in-waiting, already close to falling. They didn't want to be executed by the Serpent Eight Families, and they didn't want to become mindless Death Servitors.
So they had joined the Fierce Ghosts to huddle together for warmth, and to take revenge on the Serpent Eight Families at the same time.
Now that a way existed to keep one's mind after falling into a Ghost, how could they sit by while Kazama Ruri killed Osho?
"Aren't you all forgetting something? This road is Accelerator's, you know. One way only."
Daniel's figure appeared behind Kazama Ruri in an instant, planting himself in front of the Fierce Ghosts.
"You bastard, get out of the way!"
One of the hybrids charged at Daniel like a madman, trying to kill him and stop Kazama Ruri.
"Clueless idiot."
Daniel gave a cold laugh and stamped his foot. An earth spike shot up beneath the hybrid and impaled him whole.
The spike burst out through his throat, leaving him hanging there, twitching. The agony instantly drowned out any will to live.
The horrifying sight froze the rest of the restless Fierce Ghosts in their tracks.
Minds that had been drunk on bloodlust from the dragon's blood suddenly cleared.
Daniel had now shown three abilities: Teleportation, control over the earth, and reflection of Speech Spirits and bullets.
No hybrid could do such things.
"You've got to be kidding me. He's definitely not human! Is he a dragon? Second Generation or First Generation?"
"My lord, I'm willing to swear loyalty to you! Please spare our lives!"
"That's right, me too!"
Daniel looked at the Fierce Ghosts, who had changed their tune so fast, and snorted. "Trash like you? I'll pass. I'm not a scrap collector. I don't take just anything."
"You're better off dead. That suits me fine."
As his words fell, a terrifying gale rose in the underground theater. In midair it condensed into solid blades of air that swept across the Fierce Ghosts.
Not even transformed dragon scales could stop the wind blades from passing through. Every Fierce Ghost in the hall, along with the seats, was cut into ribbons in the blink of an eye.
Lumber, stone chips, and flesh were all ground into tiny fragments.
"Ugh, aaah!!"
"Have mercy, Dragon King!"
"No, save me, Mama!"
Nobody could survive an assault like that, a storm of blades like the howling wind of the heavens. The air blade tempest lasted less than three seconds, and the once-orderly theater was left in ruins, as if it had been torn down by a demolition crew.
There were no corpses on the floor, only ash and wood shavings mixed with fine minced flesh, covering the ground.
It looked like a blood-red carpet laid across the empty floor.
With the Fierce Ghosts dealt with, Daniel turned to look at Kazama Ruri. He had already cut off Osho's limbs.
He was laughing as he carved up the body.
The torture looked horrifying, but Osho was a Death Servitor double and felt no pain. He only struggled to get away from Kazama Ruri.
"Enough, brother-in-law. It's only a double, it's not worth it. Wouldn't it be better if I took you to cut down that old bastard's real body later?"
"Give him a quick death. We still have to clear out their base at Bliss Hall."
Hearing Daniel's voice, Kazama Ruri paused, then drove his blade into Osho's eye socket and through his brain!
The body twitched once, then lost all signs of life.
Kazama Ruri pulled out his sword and looked at Daniel. "You said it yourself. When the time comes, I get to kill Osho."
"Yeah, yeah, I said it, I said it."
Daniel used a Mental Power Scan to confirm that nobody had slipped away. He raised a hand to take Kazama Ruri to Bliss Hall and continue.
But just then Kazama Ruri gave a light cough and asked, "Um, there's a woman at Bliss Hall. She isn't one of Osho's people."
Daniel raised an eyebrow. "And?"
"So when you clean out Bliss Hall, could you not catch her in it?"
Kazama Ruri finished and waited for Daniel's answer.
Daniel looked at Kazama Ruri, who was acting as though he'd only asked offhandedly. He pulled the relevant information from his mind and grinned. "Let me guess her name. Sakurai Kogure?"
"How do you know that? Can you read my mind?" Kazama Ruri instinctively crossed his arms over his chest and stared at Daniel in shock, a chill running through him.
Daniel was grossed out by the gesture. "Don't get the wrong idea. I have no interest in reading a man's mind."
"I just know. At your level, it's hard to understand my abilities."
"Anyway, if it's her, it's not impossible."
Remembering how the two of them originally ended up, Daniel couldn't help sighing that they were a pair of star-crossed lovers.
Sakurai Kogure had voluntarily injected herself with a bloodline evolution drug and become a Ghost to hold back the Serpent Eight Families, all for Kazama Ruri.
Kazama Ruri, for his part, only understood his true feelings for her after she was dead.
As characters of Dragon Raja, the two lived up to the name. Their core was exactly the same as that of Lu Mingfei.
Sure enough, the whole world of Dragon Raja was just one giant Lu Mingfei.
Daniel thought it over and in the end decided not to take her in.
A woman from a place like Bliss Hall was a pass. Daniel wasn't one to eat just anything.
"Fine, I'll be careful to leave her alive. As long as all the other Fierce Ghosts die, I don't care."
"Losing the Fierce Ghosts before the plan has even started. Even Herzog will feel that."
"Hehe, just thinking about the look on his face when he finds out the Fierce Ghosts are wiped out makes me want to laugh."
Daniel said it in high spirits. Then, remembering the drug that could turn ordinary people into Death Servitors, he set fire to the Kabuki-za before leaving.
That way nothing would be left.
Having been rebuilt several times, the Kabuki-za once again met a great fire.
The entire Kabuki-za burned fiercely.
