A tribute to Ink-A-Lure (Patreon)

In the 1st of April 2025, I was contacted by a user named Ink-A-Lure. They asked if they could help with making project brood. With the date at the time I assumed it was a joke and didn't think much of it. At the 2nd of April I gave it a though and looking at the few pictures they had I was charmed by their character Inky. Feeling that this user would have potential. I responded back at the 2nd to see if they were interested, They were. Now back then I was very precious about Project Brood and was not very keen on letting other people help me make the game. But there was something about this person that convinced me to give them a chance. From then on out we continued to speak, in fact we almost spoke every day from that point. sharing memes, drawing together and playing games together. Many Projects related to the broodverse or not is part thanks to Ink. Many of the backgrounds are made by Ink, All the voices of the characters in the game are Ink, They have been part of both of the game jams I've been part of since Project Brood, The idea of making adoptables was thanks to Ink and many innumerable things are thanks to their brilliance and creativity. But they were much more than that, they were funny, smart, and supported me in everything I did, They were overall an amazing friend. In fact we ended up becoming more than friends, With the distance we lived we of course knew there were going to be limits, but we both wanted to give it a try and we became partners. They ended up being one of the most important people in my life without me knowing it at the time. The only thing I regret from our time together is that we didn't get to have more of it. I love you Ink and I'm going to miss you. I know this is not my greatest work, But I hope you like it regardless, because even if it's not my best right now it feels like my most important piece.
