Chapter 3 was released just before the holidays, and it was a bumpy ride for me indeed. Circumstances related to my day job left me with a bunch of spare time in the month leading up to it, and I made the most out of that little gift by packing as much as I could into chapter 3, and adding a holiday related extra scene to it. Judging by most of the reactions, the effort has been worth it, even if it left me a bit exhausted.

After taking about a week and a half off during the holidays, I've been working on chapter 4 for most of January. I've scheduled the events that take place during week 4, and have started writing and rendering out the first few scenes.

While it lasts, I'm going to make the most of the extra spare time I have left to work on Light of my Life, but as always, it'll be done when it's done. I'll keep you updated on progress in the mean time.

I am sure it will be worth every month it takes!

Your game is the most unique one out right now. The art style is the biggest sell for me, followed by character development. It might not hold the torch for animation quality but that can be put in later via a special release. I’ve subbed to many creators and your project stands completely on its own.

Thanks, I appreciate it. You're right about the animation, however, at this moment income per hour invested into LomL is much, much lower than income per hour working my day job, so in an economical sense, it's operating at a loss (but a loss borne with love I will say). Hiring on an animator is sadly out of the question in this situation though.

done when it's done is working out well so far .So keep it up

Just out of curiosity, what programs are you using to render? I love the look you've developed, it's far more organic than many other gamers where everything looks plastic. Anyway, youre a hero, thanks!

Naughty Road

Cheers. Don't know about being a hero, I'm really lucky to have the opportunity to do something I enjoy doing and have people appreciate it. Like most VN devs going for rendered images, I'm using Daz3D. My 3d models are at the core no different than the ones most of the others use, but I think I spend a lot more time tweaking the looks, both face and body, as well as taking some extra effort in posing, and thinking about styling a bit (e.g. normal people don't go to the grocery store sporting cocktail dresses and a $100 haircut).

RT-1523

Does Daz3D do both models and rendering it do you use something like zbrush for the models and then drop them into Daz3D? And I appreciate your thoughtfulness you put into your game. Jolly good show!

Naughty Road

Daz3D is mostly about posing and rendering models, props and sets, and a lot of those assets come from their store (you'd be shocked how much of those assets you'll recognize from many well known AVNs, if you browse their store for a bit). I'm no 3d modeler, although I do some of my props, but I do that in the serviceable 3d modeling tool that comes with DAZ. Zbrush is an awesome tool but for what little actual mesh manipulating I do, it seems overkill at that price tag.

The only question I do have is....will I eventually be able to massage Denise's derriere? A thick backside like that needs some hands on love

Katie

It's been nearly 3 weeks radio silence. No disrespect but any updates at all?
