I don't mind telling you that getting chapter 5 done was both extremely satisfying and extremely hard. I don't think I've ever put quite so much time into any update of Light of my Life (between 1 and 1.5 Khrs by my best reckoning), and rewarding as that effort was, the road there was not always fun, especially near the end. 

Light of my Life has always attracted its fair share of opinionated loud-mouths, but this time 'round, it seemed especially bad, and this is me kinda working through that experience.

And, yeah, I'm very much aware that the silent majority has my back, as you've always had, and I can't tell you how much that meant to me over the past months when some obnoxious troll shat all over the lawn again. Thank you for standing by me.AK model by Skartemka

Didn't know you had to deal with so many bellends like that, but I will say I love the game you make and will support you as best as I can. Keep in mind you are making something awesome whilst they are just getting mad at something that doesn't interest them.

Silent no more! ;) Seriously, you are doing great work there and I really appreciate the results. The update was worth the wait and like most patrons I would rather wait a bit longer than get a rushed update on schedule. Besides, I doubt that any of those wankers who have been pestering you could even achieve a tiny fraction of what you have been doing so far. I'd even bet that the trolls complaining about the girls' lack of barbie doll aesthetics have never even seen a naked woman in real life except maybe when peeping on their family members. So just try to ignore the background noise and let the silent applause of the masses cheer you up instead. ;P

Maybe they dont play the game for more then a few minutes? Because the pasing on the beginn is a bit low but the more you come in and learn about this amazing characters the more you want to stay forever :)

I came in after chapter 4 was released and loved every bit of the story. I took my time and read every text box, an exceptionally rare thing for me in this genre to be honest. After that I went back to other VNs and again shift skipped a loooot of text. Right before chapter 5 of Loml came out I was slightly afraid that I couldn’t get back to savoring what you created, that I somehow spoiled my VN attention span too much if that makes sense. But here we are... I read your story, felt the emotions and enjoyed their facial expressions. Your style is unique and brings something to the table that others simply don’t or can’t do. So it’s different and things that are different get attacked a lot. I read that you know all this, but wanted to leave it here anyway. Rambling, I’ll stop now.

Time to leave the silent majority. One complaint though Naugthy, you have pretty much killed the other lewd games for me. The threshold for "Well, let's download and check it out" has become immensely high. So there!

After seeing this post I went and read some of the reviews on F95. They are almost all very positive - and in explaining why they like it, they make it clear what the appeal of the game is. You are getting thoughtful praise from a lot of people, and I hope that makes up for the thoughtless stuff. So I thought I'd add a note to say how much I enjoyed the latest release, including the sly references to famous paintings! And the out-of-focus stuff in the backgrounds. Had to replay one scene because I found I was watching that instead of reading the text! Keep it up, and keep your spirits up as well - because seeing a new release did a lot for mine at a time when there is not much happening to cheer people up.

It's always interesting to me that it seems we pay so much more attention to the people that have something negative to say about us than the ones that have something positive. I find something that helps is to reverse that and pay the amount of attention on the positive feedback what I used to give to the negative and vice versa. It has led to a much happier life.
