So what's happening Naughty? With the release, you know? That big scene that I told you I was kinda worried about nailing, I'm actually pretty happy with how the visuals are shaping up, and all in all I didn't run into too much technical issues. I have a feeling it'll do the occasion justice. I had hoped to have it wrapped by now, but there's just a bit more work left, as I've decided to tack on an extra stage to the proceedings to make sure it delivers on all counts (signified by that extra face you see dangling there), and I figure the outro for it needs something a little more special than the usual talking figures, so I'm gonna be spending a bit more time on that as well. Oh, don't look at me like that, I know it means extra time, but it'll be worth it.

Edit: I just saw that scene now has about 190 individual daz scene files created for it, and each will yield 2-4 renders (for blinkies and sometimes different focus depth). I don't think I've made that much for any scene before.Right, right, but then what? Do you have any dates?Well, couple of pictures still to close on that graph, as you can see, but the beta in November seems attainable. By next week, I might even be able to tell if a November release is possible, no promises though. I'm gonna do my best to keep you posted, and of course you can usually find me on my discord server.

Sure November would be nice, but that's not worth rushing anything. I know the last hour waiting for a cake to be out of the oven and properly cooled down can be hard 😋

Naughty Road

It is, and damn am I itching to serve it up to you lot to see what you think of the taste.

Atixes

Oh but I don't know if I want stop eating, once I've started 👀 and that would be bad

Chris Blankenship

Take your time. Quality over quantity is always better.

Jamie Marinoff

Ohhh...I'm so looking forward to this!!

SneakyYang

Take all the time you need, your game here is one of my top games I can wait on lol

Balvenie1401

This is beyond ridiculous at this point.. we went from alarmingly slow to a crawl and now we're almost at a full stop :/

Alleyway

Do you know why an update can take almost a full year and you only have one person on this thread complaining about the wait (and they didn't even throw out any nasty names; it'll be here soon, Balvenie, I feel you)? Cause you deliver, every time. Cause the story and the writing, the characters and the eroticism are all on point, and delivered with such care. Thank you for putting in the work, and taking the time, to get it right. I can't wait to see this next update, Naughty!

TheKid

Take all the time in the multiverse, mate

Naughty Road

I keep you posted, I've written up post detailing where and why the problems are and why things take so much time and effort at this point and especially at the tail end of it here. I even post my hours in case anyone worries I'm slacking off and if you'd bothered to do the math you'd have seen that by the start of this month I've already put in more time into this update than a fulltime worker in the UK does in a year. Franky, I don't know what more you want, and at this point, working two jobs and going flat out on this particular one to get it wrapped up as soon as humanly possible, I'm just a little bit too frazzled and exhausted to care. Just say the word and I'll refund whatever it is you put in as support to this point and have you on your merry way.

Don’t let one person get you down there are plenty of sub par games out there they can play, meanwhile the rest will wait patiently for either an early Black Friday gift or early Christmas gift either way keep up the awesome work!!

Tim The Enchanter

Followed so many devs who update monthly but you might get 1 new scene or 12 new characters introduced who get a few lines of dialogue each but you don't care about. Every update of LomL has been worth the wait so far and so as much as the wait sucks, the end result is never disappointment.

HappyHuman

Not that much, but yeah, make sure you're happy with it. In the meantime I'll eat right and exercise. :)

Tim The Enchanter

Art lasts forever, rushing it only provides a short-term benefit to finances before people lose interest and you are left with regret and a bad reputation. The smart money is on the artist who will eventually produce a masterpiece which is why we continue to support you

The Dude

Do you know who I envy? Those who will stumble across LoML once it's complete and are able to enjoy it in its entirety. They won't be able to appreciate the agony of waiting for 2 updates a year. This is not a criticism as I agree with what others said about the quality of this game's updates compared to many others, they are truly on a whole other level. I was instantly hooked and Naughty is the first and only Dev that I've given final support to. My monthly contribution isn't much but I appreciate this labor of love and will eagerly anticipate each update until the conclusion. Thanks for putting out a truly unique and high quality product.

Bob

And so say all of us.
