Bonus post. Depot 0-644 was the "big" ordnance depot of the European Theater in World War II. All tanks and captured equipment that came back to the US came through 644. I found these photos when I was looking into records of the unit. There were many, many more that I did not take pictures or scans of due to them not having any worthwhile content, but even more so because of the way these photos were "preserved". When they were cataloged in 1946, someone taped them, 20 at a time, to the backs of old sheets of paper (see above). As a result of being taped for 70 years, all the photos were stuck together, and I was only able to get scans of two of them — the rest I was barely able to even get clear photos of. The archives conservation team took the photos for two days and removed some of the tape; if they hadn't I would not have been able to separate the photos at all.

Could we see others pics of germans afv, guns, tanks from Depot 0-644 ?

Unfortunately, it seems most of the documentation from 0-644 was destroyed. I was searching for anything on the depot just this past week, and the best I could find was a stack of monthly reports about vehicles in and vehicles out, but that's only in regard to Allied vehicles serviced, not captured vehicles passed through the depot. I believe some of the ETO reports were written on vehicles at 0-644, but those photos were taken in one specific lot, and don't show the whole vehicle and artillery park.

Too bad for NARA. Panther "539" was promising. Steve Zaloga wrote in 2008: "The photos were taken by Col. J. B. Jarret (US Army Ordnance) in 1945 and they are from his collection at the Military History Institute in Carlisle Barracks, PA. The collection identifies the location as OW Ordnance # 64 Paris. The Jarett photos are not very good and are on 35mm slide. To make matters worse, MHI has a policy against using scanners. So to copy the Jarrett slides, I have to put them on a light box and then attach magnification filters to my camera. This is not the best for quality. "
