In boxing at least, it isn't so much a pain thing as your nervous system shutting down. You feel the hit in your whole body, see purple and then next thing you know you are waking up on the ground surround by people asking you if you know your name and what date it is. Usually shots to the jaw do this

I don't know if there is technique to not immediately passing out. It happens quick and even to the best fighters. I imagine the tensing of your face and neck doesn't help ( brain hits the inside of skull maybe? ).

Loved this one. People who historical martial arts look down on that s*** it's. The hierarchy goes actual fences historical fences HEMA then re-enactors dress historically and act out battle and love the history and WAY DOWN then these who just bash each other until they're a CTE encapsulated.
