Every astrogoblin video should have Infinite Jest-style footnotes and appendices, exhaustively explaining all the references and what other videos they are in

Yes please! And scholars wearing bowties and tweed jackets with leather patches on the elbows that maintain these extensive tomes

If you read "Neuromancer", you should really read the rest of the books in the Sprawl trilogy, "Count Zero", and "Mona Lisa Overdrive" as well. I especially love "Count Zero", i think the "punk" of cyberpunk peaks in that book. Gibsons Bridge trilogy is a great read as well.

Ok, stay with me here. Concerning genres they got perfect the first time and nobody’s been able to replicate: Veggie Tales. Remember we are only examining it within the realm of other Christian children’s media. There is a lot of terrible children’s media, a lot of terrible Christian media, and a LOT of terrible Christian children’s media. I’m sure quite a few of us here don’t have to think very hard to remember a few examples of terrible ones from Sunday school growing up. However, the original run of Veggie Tales is actually pretty decent for what it is. The writing is good, there are some fun jokes, and most of the songs are catchy without being overly-annoying. Sure it’s very overt with its message, but it’s trying to be. After this series came out in the 90s, so many people tried to replicate it. Nobody has ever even come close.
