This started as an attempt at the famous black tape project look. It was a bit hit and miss. I managed to save the best ones to post here, but there were many more that were just not useable.

While some don't even look like tape, some others have come out really nice! Which do you like the most?

I definitely agree with the hit and miss. Thanks for trying different colors as well, some of them do look a little more tape like and less leather straps. Width seems to be crucial in that, the narrower the piece, the less leathery it looked. Lessons learned, keep pushing those boundaries 😊

Yeah. I tried 3 different LoRAs that have been trained at this (not by me), and neither of them gave perfect results. I can only assume they were trained on many different pics and therefore many different patterns, so when generating it kind of jumbles them all up and makes a bit of a mess. Some of the reject pics were wild!
