When I first watched this, I was so angry at Mom. But then, after thinking about it, I get where she was coming from. The caretaker job for Mhok was a bit of a dead end ... at least professionally. By forcing him out, Mhok was able to find his own path, and potentially become a good fit for Day and his needs. This will become more apparent as we move forward. And can we just take a moment to relish in the amazing acting that is Mark/Night? He is so perfect for this part, and I'm so glad Night and Day made up. Also, the way they did it was so sweet and subtle - not a direct "you did this, but I forgive you", but a more nuanced forgiveness initially for something else, but then the "for everything", which so simply set things right. Brilliant writing and acting on both Mark's and Sea's parts. Hope you got something good to eat! See you in ep 11!

What bothers me is that no one has ever thought of teaching Day to read and write in Braille. This would open up a whole new world for him; he could gather information, communicate, and learn independently instead of constantly depending on other people.

i think the mom meant money wise he cant take care of him. cuz he doesnt have the means to yet. but i dont agree with what the mom is doing but i get what she meant by that. shes talking about for life to live a life with him he doesnt have the means to take care of him yet. it wasnt really about a caretaker at that point in the convo she meant as a life partener he deosnt have the means to take care of day like that after she is gone is what she was trying to say so i get that part of it but i just dont agree with hwo she handled things
