your face when payu said “cum laude” 😭😭 unfortunately fortpeat only show up together when their part starts but it’s implied from prapai that they already know each other at this point in the story. they’re worth the wait, tho. personally they’re my favourite of the two. also idk if anyone else has told you but prapaisky’s story deals with a heavier theme and it’s not as lighthearted as payurain’s part, just so you’re not blindsided. i also agree with you on the “husband and wife” aspect in bl. it’s so corny to me. even in fandoms they still refer to a lot of ships like that and it annoys me.

You should check out the ost's sang by the actors for this series...as well as the ost's for Boy Next World by BossNoeul and the one by Boss. They are all really good. Also. Boy Next World is def worth watching...BossNoeul's improvement in both acting and their chemistry really shines through in that series and is worth the watch.

The scene where Rain and Ple meet after the exam and she asks for Payu's number and he says "these fruity siblings" is because Som is the thai word for Orange, and Ple is the thai word for Apple. I thought you might find it funny. :)

I almost spit out my drink when you got shocked at the ‘cum laude’ expression. I’ve known this expression since forever so never associated it with the other meaning that first word has in English! Lol I hope I will get to see BossNoeul in another story in the future, now they are older, better actors etc. But I do hope it will be a good series with a solid scenario and interesting characters. In the end, both actors have only starred in this story and the Boy Next World. They are still all over social media but have had only two shows and nothing recently. Maybe both are now more focusing on their music careers, which is great for them and maybe why they are not in many new projects (Boss was in Zomvivor though.)

From what I heard the 'wifey' and 'hubby' thing that is often used in Thai BL is specific Thai slang, not exclusive gay slang, but definitely that too. It has more connotations than just 'husband' and 'wife' and doesn't get consistently always translated as that (sometimes it's just 'darling' or something along those lines). From what I can find the terms aren't without issue and MAME definitely has a thing for using them, but there is definitely a cultural connotation to them, and sometimes (apparently, I take to guarantee for this) there can even be a kink connotation to it - and that might be how it's used between Rain and Payu. Anyway, the terms have some broader background, is all I meant to say :)

Their manager said they will have a new series in early 2026 but it hasn't been said what yet. Boy Next World came out early this year so it's pretty steady. Boy Next World is also my favorite they've done. Plot wise it's sooo good
