I know Duang comes off very goofy and second-hand embarrassment but as someone whos neurodivergent, seeing a male lead like duang have all these hand movements and vocal noises that are very similar to me when i stim makes me feel seen and almost like something im very insecure about is being normalized in a way.

I am pretty sure that there was 2 types of chocolates (Duang isn't the type to manipulate lol) but if you rewatch I think Qin is studying Duang to see which one will be the white chocolate and chose it on purpose. Sigh this quickly became one of my top fav BLs lol

Sorry for the horror bit when you were expecting all cuteness. LOL. Duang is a bit ridiculous, but in the cutest and most adorable way possible. Like sometimes I just think "Seriously man? What are you doing? But why do I find it cute?" Especially in this episode. I think this one has the most "cringe" moments. I still get little bits of secondhand embarrassment from the rest of the series, but much less often. Mostly just cuteness aggression.

I can't explain how I'm obsessed with this series the way I was obsessed with Khemjira. Honestly, when I watched the pilot during DMD Lineup, I thought I wouldn't like it because the story looked cliche and boring. I thought I would skip many scenes for this because the plot is simple and like the other BLs out there. It was a surprise how refreshing the series was and how they made Duang's character adorable and made Qin's backstory more interesting. I finished reading the novel before ep 1 got released, and I can say that plot-wise, the adaptation is better than the novel. The adaptation has more depth in characters and the story itself. I'm excited for you to watch the next episodes.
