YES tattoo does say “direk’s son” I think it’s the first tattoo he got in his life as it sad in the novel. My ONLY gripe with this show is the never let Dao have his beautiful tattoos he got in honor of each of his dads! - oh! Also Dao is a the hospital a lot because he has chronic stomach issues. Some details they randomly put in with no explanation lol —— ugh….that ending chair scene gets me so bad every time. 😭😭😭😭

This hit really hard for me cuz if you recall Art was always missing from everyone story. I always assume he was always traveling to USA, amazon forest etc looking for his mom. So by now i realize how much he must love her and desperate to see her again. This part also why I cry so hard when phoon sister was gone. I think phoon sister is like Art mom. Once she made peace and realize phoon is taken care of she ready to leave forever. She love him so much she stay til he find love from his friend and Fah. Phoon always resent her and hates her cuz she got all their parent love. Despite how he treat her she always love him and her ghost lingering around til he found love really prove that. Every arch is connected in unique way. Realizing Art mom is gone and he will never see nor find her again and realizing the same case with phoon sister. She gone for good and phoon will never see her again, not even dream of her again like before, hit really hard once you watch Dao and Art series. The living cannot be with the dead and that such a hard theme in this arc. That why we were introduce to Donut and his girlfriend. Not cuz it a ghost story arch but the theme of the living cannot be with the dead and one must let go of the past. Dao and Art must let go of the past. This is just how I interpret the story.

You should really read their novel. you can see there even more that dao is a badass and i feel like because there is more to the plot arthit grows on you even more and is easier to understand and love him😊 although they are doing such a good job with the scenes they have😍😍

This ep definitely hits harder the emotions are just 😭😭 I love that here we get to see them bond a little more, discovering they like similar music, sharing books (in the novel arthit asks dao to draw some scenes from the books he reads that dao already finished so he can have a vision of how they look) They share so many small things that slowly brings them closer it warms my heart🥹❤️

Also in the novel arthit is a bit more impulsive i guess 🤔 after dao's ex pee on his car he beats him up until he needs to go to the hospital in critical condition and asks direk to get someone to bring him another car cause his car is now dirty. So the picture he sends dao is of his ex basically bleeding on the floor🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

About north and arthit i feel like its more obvious in the novel how similar they are in the way they talk and act with their friends They both have a care free attitude that is shown abit different. It makes it even more funny that he jokes about johan being his husband 🤣

THIS EPISODEEE!! It’s truly the turning point in ArthitDao’s relationship but more importantly it gets to show off what a powerhouse actor Ngern (Arthit) is!! He conveyed the pain of losing a parent so well! Arthit is such an interesting character; coming so far from what he was previously portrayed as which was a two dimensional jerk who liked to mooch off his friends. This arc changed my perspective on him completely!! Something I like about Part 2 of this show in general is how every couple’s story (TonfahTyphoon, ArthitDao, and TigerNao) tackles more serious topics revolving around family trauma, loss, and grief! All the actors did such a brilliant job! I’m so happy you’re loving this arc, it’s definitely neck a neck with Fah and Phoon’s story for me!!

Yes I was shock how different and amazing part 2 was. I keep telling people to watch/react cuz it not like Part 1 which kinda turn people off. They keep flipping the couple back and fourth and too much flashback.

HillTer is my sweet romcom couple and I also liked JohanNorth but yea I think part 1 definitely has issues and it wasn’t handled as well as part 2! The tonal shifts in part 2 and just the overall quality was so much better. It makes me a little sad because I think if they had treated part 1 the same it would look so different.

That just my guess since it the only plot that make sense. Art isn't the type to travel for fun nor does he do any work for his dad. So I assume it was to look for his mom. I haven't read their novel so I can;t confirm it. Their novel is super long cuz their so many sub plot. (from reddit: Arthit’s past romantic entanglements, Daotok’s experiences being bullied in high school and confronting his bully later, and Arthit’s world tour concert) I don;t know when I gonna find time for it. They cut the most from this arc but to be fair so many sub plot.
