I also like how this show is more realistic. Perth characters state him and his mom is starting to learn more about each other. Meaning they are just mending their relationship. He didn’t go low contact for 7 year for nothing. It wasn’t fix in one episode. He acknowledged that it can be fix but that different to it just being fix like a lot of bl.

Parents having expectations like wanting them to have a job that will enable them to live comfortably are okay but she went around it the wrong way why couldn’t he be an auditor and still play music for fun write songs to help him remember stuff for tests etc a lot of ppl work and still play in a local band with their friends it gives skills reading music not everyone can do that some can’t read music they play by ear it also teaches how to be on stage singing or talking without the anxiety and stage fright most get. She didn’t need to put him down comparing him to Jee all the time and smashing his guitar those things are not cheap! And do it in front of his classmates making him more of a loner and feel more inferior to others he still struggles with that in his adult life but now Solar/sun and Jee and the principal are showing him he can do it he just has to try and not give up and he learns to connect with his students and becomes a great teacher And she was wrong to act like only auditors make good money and have a good life and put every other job down teachers are a special breed not just anyone can be a great teacher that children love and love to learn from like solar. It takes bravery and thinking quick on your feet. if his mom likes auditors so much she can go be one herself or marry one stop being cruel to her son she needs to realize he avoids her because of how toxic she is instead of loving and supporting him she dose the opposite that never works only causes heartbreak
