This episode broke me into pieces, but it also is the episode that made this bl one of my most precious watches bc of how it deals with mental health so gracefully and without shame or stigma; especially considering its core obstacle is one of the most stigmatized mental disorders: DID. And it was done so beautifully.

and to add on to your questions: he didnt really adopt the name solar. sun was a child who created an identity to protect himself. he took the character from his mom's show and created the Solar we know now. Like Pobmek said: Sun is Sun. Solar is Solar. In all intents and purposes, two separate individuals. So it wouldn't make sense for him to take on the name Sun when for the majority of his existence, he's been Solar, and Sun is a separate identity. Of course there are bits that overlap due to memories being regained, but Solar is his own person.
