Trust us when we tell you to trust the process 😂 You might actually really like this one but you just have to get through these first few episodes because I swear it really starts picking up from here and the plot twists 👀 I think a big part of why people love this series so much is the gradual growth of Charlie and Babe as characters and the progression of their relationship. And I think you’re right about Babe not being used to losing because we’re actually starting to see him get humbled here. Pavel does such an amazing job portraying that character growth because Babe isn’t just dealing with losing a race. He’s also dealing with the possibility that the person he’s falling in love with might be cheating on him after what seems like a lifetime of not really having someone he feels like he can let in. And it’s not even some random stranger he’s jealous of but someone on his own racing team who’s younger than him. There’s so much wrapped up in that for Babe 😭 I think Pavel does such a good job balancing Babe’s anger and humiliation with those little moments where you can see him catch himself because, underneath all of that, he genuinely cares about Charlie and his well-being. You can see him struggling between his pride and his feelings, and I think watching that tension slowly turn into actual character growth is one of the best parts of the series. ❤️

It’s going to keep getting better and keep you on your toes and keep you guessing it’s worth it! The first couple episodes do drag a bit and are hard to get into I agree but it’s such a fun show as you go and the layers peel back and each layer has twists and turns you don’t expect like a plate of spaghetti and meatballs only time it’s race tracks and race cars 😂 and it gets darker and you get unexpected villains that just trigger a trap door under your feet and you Plummet into a bottomless pit and unexpected allies at the last minute it’s so worth watching!!
