Hey gang, we'll be doing the concluding episode of the Reading Club section on The Future of Place LIVE on Friday 7 February, at the following time:

09.00 Los Angeles12.00 New York17.00 London18.00 Berlin

Please join us for a discussion of David Harvey's classic The Condition of Postmodernity, specifically Part Three: “The Experience of Space and Time” – and to reflect on the wider themes of the section.

Come along and ask questions – the more basic the better. We'll share the livestream link the day before.

Some things to think on:

Are transformations like the emphasis on flux, flow, speed, flexibility and disruption coming to an end? Or have they become so naturalised we've forgotten about them?

What are the cultural and artistic reflections of placelessness? Do we need more reflection on our specific, local conditions – or to find universals?

How will de-globalisation affect all this?

NB: Reading Clubs are only for subscribers to the Grand Corruption tier.
