This is an OC of one of my clients. As I was told she's 'an older chinese-american female mystical martial arts type character a la White Tiger and Iron Fist'. My goal was to redesign her original look (last image), but to keep it recognizable. I decided to take more grounded approach to her costume and to add more details from traditional chinese armor, which not only makes practical sense, but also creates pretty unique silhouette.
