Psylocke/Cap Britain redesign (Patreon)

alrighti was asked by the commissioner to make a redesign of the current Betsy Braddock costume which is heavily inspired by the Cpt. Britain's onethe only requirements were to make it slicker and more regal-looking and to add some kinda headpieceso this amalgamation were born! here i tried to incorporate bits and pieces of different Psylocke's costumes: blue torso segment, stripes on the biceps and her classic sash from the iconic "ninja" look; color scheme is obviously inspired by the cap's suit; also i think there's a little bit of something from anka's uncanny x-force design in there, but i'm not sure what exactly, that might be a subconscious thing, but IT'S THERE trust me my favourite detail that's not very visible on the piece is her glove with armor scales: more of an accessory, but a really cool one (they actually do these in real life btw)and i decided to incorporate her "butterfly" symbol in the shield rather than put it above her head, since there's already a headpiece up there (which doesn't really have any meaning behind it aside from client's wish :))
