Bishop was the most popular suggestion and I also liked the idea to put Namor in there, so i decided to make two variations and i think after all this years of trying i'm starting to feel more comfortable with this rougher coloring approach

Alright i looked it up and apparently there was a comic series where kate and emma were a duo called the marauders and she got the persona of a pirate? Lol

It's ongoing. Mutants live on an island now (Krakoa) and Kate is captain of a ship that brings mutant refugees to the island as well as trades for things the island needs. Partly because she wanted to and partly because due to her phasing powers she couldn't use the "gates" that allowed for instant teleportation to the island so she needed a different way to get around. Emma is her financier as part of the Hellfire Club (now Hellfire Trading Company) and in fact brought Kate to be part of it as the Red Queen. Kate has really taken to the pirate theme and now wears a lot of red to represent her "Red Queen" status. Her crew she named The Marauders (roooough past, but whatever) and they've kept the name and mission so far!
