Nope! Not in the comics. She's been around for over a decade and had multiple girlfriends. She's young in the MCU cause they didn't want to deal with her being a lesbian. Dima has already drawn a few great pieces with her btw if you search the tags.

What's your point? My point is she's a well established character with a rich history in the comics you can look into and not bring this MCU crap to me implying I'm a pedophile. Her solo run three years ago had her going to college and again, Dima has already drawn some great art of her. Now it's time for you to do a little research into an awesome character. 👍

Alright, lemme join the conversation before it's gone too far. I agree, that characters don't really age in comics and their exact age is rarely told straight up. The way I think about America though is that she's the same age as Kate Bishop (who she activelly flirted with on multiple occasions) and the first time we meet Kate in Gillen/Mckelvie's Young Avengers run she's literally in Noh-Varr's bed after spending a night with him. All of that plus America going to college (which i didn't know about, because i'm not up to date with comics these days) is a pretty solid indication that she's not underage. So yeah, maybe America is 14 in the movie, but definitely not in comics. And most importantly I never draw nsfw pieces of underage characters. This is why I've been hesitant about drawing anything Spider-Gwen related, for example. As I said I'm not up to date with current events in comics, so I'm not sure if she's still 17 or not.
