On a quest to defeat Luxuria, the queen of the succubi, you enter the Succubus Forest, which is home not only to succubi, but many monster girls that will attack you without mercy. You must fend them off and reach the heart of the forest.Review:Story:The story was quite generic. Basically you need to defeat Luxuria the final boss and save your village from getting invaded again. As you go through this Succubus Forest, you get greeted by several kinds of monsters going your way. As you progress, the goddess guides you to your victory while powering you up as you battle each major bosses. At the end, you face Luxuria and defeated her with all your might. The ending reveals you saved the village and now you've become a remembered hero to the villagers.I didn't quite enjoy the story. It's a bit too basic for me to indulge with it's characters. I do say that it's not a particularly trash story. It's rather a simple to follow story that has no plot twist nor any kind of dramatic end to it. 6/10⭐Animations and Artstyle:The animations were fine and with the pixel artstyle, it was alright. I think the animated scenes are more highlighted on the POV H-scenes. That's where it really shines and shows how much it was animated well in those scenes. 7.5/10🌟Gameplay:Now the gameplay is the cream of the crop of the game. If you like Slay the Spire, you'll definitely enjoy this game. It's not as complex as Slay the Spire but it's up there in terms of card building and strategizing different kinds of synergy when it comes to combat. This is how it goes, you have 50F or 50 levels + 2 last ones to go through. Over the course of those levels, you get to fight different kinds of succubus like slimes, cowgirls, vampires, ghouls, etc. Every new level is random. It can either be an event, a succubus event, shop, or a normal battle. You can earn cards, consumables or upgrades through events and on normal battles. You can either build a full deck with no limit or a limited deck that only has 20 cards in it. It's up to you however you wanna build it. The main core of the gameplay is mix and matching the synergy of each cards. Like for example, I can put a illusion upgrade on a mana card meaning once I used it, it can duplicate it and put it on my current hand, letting me use the card again. Upgrades can work on every single card. And every card ranks its strength and rarity in bronze, silver and gold. With the gameplay loop of not making the succubus capture you, you can combo certain types to destroy them into atoms. It's so much fun and so much potential when doing runs. The only major downside is the Lust mechanic. The lust mechanic is the big heart icon next to you. Once filled, you'll be vulnerable towards Succubus's command grabs. In order to escape those grabs, you have to click and spam left and right arrow key. The problem is most of the time, it doesn't work at all. No matter what you do, you'll always get captured and get damaged by them. Lust cards can also spawn in you hand when it fills up your meter or when you face certain bosses. For example, the Cowgirl boss can spawn Milk cards on your current hand, when used, it can heal you for 5 hp, the downside is it can increase your lust meter to full, making you vulnerable to her. That's basically it. It can rather be annoying sometimes when dealing with it and sometimes can ruin a perfect run. But other than that, no one can really stop you from building your perfect deck. 9/10✨Sound Design and Music:The sound design is cool, especially on gold cards. Some of the sound effects can be really triggering in a good way. The music is also nice with a good tone to it. It's nothing to remember by but it is something to relax and enjoy while you read card descriptions and other item skills. 8/10🌟H-Content:And lastly the h-content. By the sheer length and in depth mechanics of the gameplay, you'll get about a solid 60%/40% h-content. Each enemy has it's own H-scene but not everyone has it's own POV h-scene. That's why you only get 60% of it. It is a good ratio though if I'm being honest. But for me, if you want this game only for it's h-scenes then you might not like it.Also each and every one of them are animatedly well. The dot scenes were good and the onomatopoeia effects around them are great. 8/10🌟Rating:Succubus Forest seems to be a game first than an h-game second. It's a pretty fun game that has a great replayable gameplay loop with H-scenes as a bonus. I'm giving it a strong 7.5/10🌟
