Picnic Scene with Kree and Clara (Patreon)

Just a simple scene to get my creative juices pumping again. I don't think I've ever actually drawn Kree eating his favorite human food: bread! These sort of picnics were common for Kree and Clara before they officially got together. :)

Does eating bread have any negative effects on Kree? I know you shouldn’t feed ducks bread because it can cause health problems and malnutrition.

I don’t think any birds explode if they eat bread? It’s just not healthy for them. If you’re allowed to feed birds it’s recommended to use frozen veggies like peas, or sometimes chopped nuts and fruit

Feeding birds bread is a problem because they do not derive enough nutritional value from it since it lacks protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Its essentially junk food. However, Kree probably gains more nutritional value from it than birds do, and it would only be a problem for him if he only ever ate bread (which he is unlikely to do since it doesn't contain magia).

You're thinking of the common misconception that uncooked rice does that to birds. But actually, rice is actually better for them than bread since its more nutritious and honestly doesn't expand too much in bird stomachs lol.
