Neebs and Lug Dynamics (Patreon)

I've been thinking of these two lately and the mixture of silliness/ intense yearning they experience together in the swiss cheese story I have for them in my head.

Neebs pretends to be goblin royalty to manipulate Lug for her own gain from the moment they meet. As such, their entire relationship is built on a foundation of (fairly obvious) lies and exploitation. Despite this, through their misadventures that give Lug many opportunities to "save" her from problems she often causes herself, Neebs provides the life's purpose Lug has always wanted. Not the chivalrous knighthood he fancifully imagined at the start, but the chance to show complete devotion to someone who may not deserve it, but needs it.
