Egg (Patreon)

The simple, separate ref for the egg I spoke of yesterday! This thing causes the inciting incident in Juliana's life that leads to her kidnapping and subsequent romances.

Unlike the dragon shifters who were the outcomes of dragon x human couplings, this egg was carefully conceived and lain by a sole full-blood dragon parent. It was too underdeveloped to magically imprint on it's bio parent before her vanquishing. When it was ready, it imprinted on the most consistent, caring presence around it (Juliana, the servant who was tasked with making sure the egg wouldn't die with absolutely no desire to become a mom.)

I very nearly gave the egg it's own Art Fight profile sorta as a joke, but I don't know about giving someone full character points just for drawing an egg...but what do yall think? It technically is a living being...
