Friday Night Beach Chat #15 (Patreon)

It's Friday night and you know what that means...it's time for a little chat on the beach.

So version 0.2 was released this week; bug fixing update 0.2.1 was released this morning which fixes a few bugs from Chapter 1 that didn't show up until the transition to Chapter 2. Thanks to everyone who messaged me with their bugs. The update also adds in a picture that somehow never made it onto the render queue. It was all staged and ready to go but for whatever reason it slipped through the cracks and was never rendered.

So what's next? The work continues, version 0.3 will finish up Chapter 2 which is mostly all sex scenes. All the paths end up with a sex scene which means is a whole lot of spicy scenes to write, we got;

So yeah that's gonna be my weekend. :-)

Trisha has been chosen!

The wife's best friend Trisha who so far has only been name dropped has been chosen. It's a sultry redhead. She is guaranteed to make an appearance in flashback sequences on the NTR path in the future. She may also appear in flashbacks in other paths but I haven't decided that yet.

I know I missed the Poll this week, forgot about it and didn't have anything prepared for it. Trying to finish up for release and then bug hunting this week kept me super busy.

This is looking very promising. I'm enjoying it but I'll wait to see how it develops before I add any superlatives. I could do without Greg but I kind of understand his ... importance to the story ... so far. However I have a couple of questions. First, is this going to be NTR or NTS or both? I much prefer the latter to be honest (and NTS with a husband, boyfriend, etc. who doesn't play a submissive role in the whole thing). Not a massive fan of NTR - still trying to figure out what the difference between that and cheating :-D Second, will I have a choice on who Chloe plays with? Her escapade in the John suggests that I don't ... and how come we got Chloe's perspective at the night club but not at the surfing lesson?? Gutted! I'd actually like to see this whole story from Chloe's perspective. I'm a big fan of female protag together with both NTS and NTR.

There are three main paths; NTR, NTS and Harem. There's a bunch of sub-paths for each that depend on the choices you make. The game asks you questions in several spots, how you answer those tailors the game to your play type. For example early on at the beach party you watch the wife dancing with the muscle dude. The game asks you a question about how you feel about this. If you are aroused by it (NTS), jealous (Harem or NTR), trusting (NTR). Early on you can move around the main paths; for example NTR can become NTS and NTS can become NTR depending on choices and stats. Later in the game as you progress further into the paths the tighten up and will lock you in. I hadn't considered deciding who Chloe plays with. I'd have to see how much work something like that will be. The Harem path is by far where you'll have the most control over her. She's timid and practically subservient on that path. But she will not fuck other men on that path unless you allow her. As for Chloe's perspective only being at the nightclub. That's because the thought simply hadn't come to me when I wrote the beach stuff months ago. (I wrote the club stuff a few weeks ago) Since then I've discovered that doing POV switches to Chloe will make writing the NTR stuff easier. The MC doesn't know what's going on but you the player will. I have no idea if I'm going to do bigger perspective changes or bring it to other paths. It's something I will see as I go.

I'm liking where this is going. I'm not normally a massive fan of harem (there are exceptions that are just ... fun) but this one sounds ... enticing. In a few updates down the line, I might have a go at the harem line. I do appreciate that I have no idea how much work actually goes into these things and that it's almost certainly a lot more than I can reasonably imagine and, with that in mind, I will always say that it is your story and you should do it the way you want. Thank you and keep up the good work
