Welcome back to Paradise where it's always lovely!

Work is getting hectic as I approach the release date. There were so many threads to tie up, crazy...but I love it! I might have done a few too many paths with the NTR and it's been hell trying to do them all. But I think it really goes into some interesting places and gives the player a lot of choice in the way they want the game to go. It's of course more fun if you go along with the craziness of the island but resisting can also be fun too.

Chapter 7 is going to insane for some of these paths and I have to find a way to pace it correctly as I would like to have the big island reveal to come out at the same time for all paths. But I'm not sure if that's going to be possible.

Anyway, have a whole lot of work to do so I should get back to it.

Sneak Peeks:

That's it for this week, have a great weekend.

Paradise Lore You Should Know #3

Robert Anderson, the mastermind behind the purchase of the island was born on September 9th 1923 the first child of Thomas Anderson a well-respected Industrialist who took his father's wealth and doubled it by the time Robert was born.

Thomas was a notorious workaholic who spent more time in the office than anywhere else. Growing up Robert barely saw his father, he hated his father's obsession with work and rebelled against that by living a life of leisure as he became an adult. Drinking, partying, the quintessential socialite. He evaded work and his father's companies like the plague. Many saw him as lazy and unfocused, his father believed/hoped that he would grow out of it and eventually take over the family business.

This of course Robert saw as an absolute nightmare, which only made him pull further away and bury himself in drugs and alcohol. Many times his father had to intervene to cover for his son's debaucheries...less they hit the papers and tarnish the family's good name.

In an effort to get him to calm down, Thomas orchestrated an arranged marriage with a business associate. Reluctantly under threat of being cut-off, Robert married Helen the eldest daughter of business magnate on July 19th 1941. Robert had been dreading this marriage but he had no choice, he had to go through with it. But there came a spark of hope and joy on the honeymoon night and it wasn't quite what Robert had expected. Helen sat him down and explained how this whole thing was going to work, she was also less than pleased with this arrangement and only agreed because she also saw the resistance in Robert's eyes.

That night, she informed him that the reason she had agreed is that she was a lesbian. She would do her duties as was expected of a wife and bear him children. She would be free to explore her proclivities and Robert would be free to enjoy other women as long as it all remained a secret and he didn't bring diseases into their bedroom. Robert could barely believe his luck, he agreed to the proposition set forth by Helen. She would go on to give him three sons John (born 1943),Arthur (born 1945), Bertrand (born 1952) and a daughter named Anna (born 1948).

Unfortunately for poor Robert however, his nightmare would become a reality a lot sooner than he had anticipated. On September 18th 1946 his father's body was found by his secretary when she arrived in the morning. As usual Thomas had stayed at the office late, some time in the night he suffered a massive heart attack and keeled over right there over his desk.

Just like that Robert was thrust into the position of power at his father's company. The family fortunes; the ones he was dependent on to fund his playboy socialite lifestyle was now in his hands. He entertained the thought of grabbing every bit of cash he could and running off. However in the end he decided to step up for his family.

He struggled valiantly to balance work with his leisure time but he was quickly becoming frustrated with the whole thing. More than once he stared out the window of his father's office...now his office and thought about jumping.

Things kept getting worse for him and one night when he was having a little party to wind down the week with a few friends and some girls they had picked up. His best friend John Hayes while drunk or high...or maybe a combination of both. Blurted out loud that it would be awesome if they could load a bunch of booze and girls onto a boat and get shipwrecked on some tropical island. Something like the book series The Swiss Family Robinson except as he put it “Better because they'll be broads and booze.” This way they wouldn't have to worry about the trappings of modern life dragging them down and they could enjoy life.

This of course earned him a round laughs and ridicule at the concept and the party moved on. But that germ of an idea stuck inside Roberts head. He often thought about it when he was stuck in the office swamped with work. The dream turned into an obsession over the course of several months and he began actively searching for an island. Not to shipwreck himself of course, that was idiotic...but somewhere he could relax and dabble in his kinky side without fear of the press getting a hold of it. They were always on the hunt to bring down the rich and elite through scandals...it's what sold papers.

His company had many contracts with the U.S. Military and through those he learned of an island that would be perfect for his needs. It was not for sale of course, but that was a minor issue for him thanks to his family name and the long history of business dealings with the government. Being powerful and influential Industrialists, his family had profited dearly from both wars.

He pulled as many strings as he could and managed to get an agreement to buy the island. But they wanted far too much, he could not access that much money without it getting discovered. So he did what he was always good at...influencing others to do what he wanted. He first moved through his circle of friends he partied with. Eventually he lined up a bunch of investors to buy the island.
