Hsin the Moon Fox - Indigo Oath V1.1

Added a mod for the ultimate form. The archive contains both the normal form and the ultimate form; I have put the two forms together and compressed them. The download link is in the original post.

Fixed the incorrect toenail model issue in the normal-form mod.

Added the material effects for the white stocking toe covers.

Fixed the dodge texture error caused by not enabling rabbitfx. It no longer depends on rabbitfx.

3. Notes:

1) If entering the game is very slow, or loading takes especially long after pressing F10, this is caused by cache validity issues leading to repeated compilation. The mod data may have been modified. Please re-download and extract the mod, or change the global `cache_shaders` in `XXMI\WWMI\d3dx.ini` to 1, i.e. `cache_shaders = 1`.

2) The Cumulative Recharge Decoration display toggle refers to the model display. If you want to turn off the effects, return to the main interface and unequip the decoration. (This toggle only works when the Cumulative Recharge Decoration is equipped; it does not mean you can get the Cumulative Recharge Decoration for free.)

3) This mod requires XXMI version 1.0.7 or above, because fixing the idle issue requires new XXMI syntax. If you are already on the latest version but the model still has problems, the old XXMI may be non-standard and problematic. You need to delete the files under XXMI and reinstall, to avoid leftover old files causing issues. (You can move the mods folder out first; it contains mods.)

4) Updates for the ultimate form will also be in the cloud drive links in this post. Friends whose membership is about to expire, remember to save the links.

5) Various shader effects such as water flow will increase GPU performance consumption. Please enable or disable them according to your needs. Since the clothing display area is relatively large, you can usually turn off the water flow effect.

4. Production Notes

The ultimate form (*Hsin the Moon Fox God) is not ready yet; it will probably take another two or three days, so I released the normal form (Hsin the Moon Fox*) mod first.

I added the face shape and makeup of *Hsin the Moon Fox God and Suhsin the Inevitable*, so you can pretend to experience the ultimate form or something, meow.

The normal form and ultimate form are independent mods, so the ultimate form can also be mixed with other people's mods (NTR!).

After version 3.7 launched, I received a lot of feedback and optimized the GUI feel, interface presentation, and water flow effects, such as making water flow settings independent between parts. This time I also added an option to adjust the density of water droplets. I also spent some time researching how to use shaders to improve stocking material effects, manifested as smooth black stocking texture, a Fresnel effect with darkened gradient edges, soft transitions and strong edge glow for white stockings, etc. This time I also added a 3-level stocking highlight effect, which can simulate the texture of glossy stockings.

Every time I make a mod, I research something that can be optimized, hoping each new mod will improve on the previous one. This time I indeed spent a lot of time on optimization. I hope I can better balance production and optimization in the future, so I don't keep everyone waiting too long.

Besides some recent events that everyone knows about, which disturbed my thoughts, there was another factor that made it time-consuming.

I originally wanted to try making the *Luoyue Qingqiu skin from Firefly Assault*, but after actually putting it into the game, the clothing looked visually very heavy. The reason is that some 3D realistic games add many rough texture details to normal maps to enhance clothing texture for realism. However, in anime-style games, this rough texture cannot blend into the art style, resulting in poor visual effects. I figured adjusting the normal map was very difficult and color grading was also complex, so I retreated and turned to making a wedding dress.

I know some friends like black stockings and pantyhose, so I once tried to make a red-and-black wedding dress to match black stockings, but making it look good would take a lot of effort and time, so I gave up. After *Suoming* is finished, I may make another black-stocking-themed mod for Hsin with simpler weights. The skirt weights this time were really too hard to paint, because I had to handle clipping relationships at various levels.

The main body of this wedding dress was also made by *Yuno* before, so it may cause some aesthetic fatigue. But this time it really took too long; I didn't plan well at the beginning. You can also wait for my future new mods for Hsin.

Because I don't know how to make mods that everyone likes, the appearance of *Feihualing* was completely luck. It doesn't mean I'm the kind of big shot whose every mod is liked by everyone. So it's normal that this Hsin mod flopped.

I thought I could release it early yesterday, but I didn't expect adjusting the water flow effect to take so much time. Different mods initially show different effects, requiring constant adjustment and adaptation, and then recording the optimization results. This time it also magnified some previously existing problems that needed to be solved together. At dawn I also found it was quite GPU-intensive and still had room for optimization, so I had to go back and study it. I'm sorry for not releasing the mod until 3 a.m., meow, and it's only the normal form.

Later, the optimized water flow and stocking shader effects will also be synced to *Feixue and Qingxiao*. Please follow the update news to get the latest version of the mod in time.
