Utsusemi (Skinsuit Tokyo) — Ren’s Canon (Patreon)

This is an experiment in a way — I didn’t write the original in English or Chinese, and I’m not sure how well the translation turned out.

A skinsuit story set in Tokyo: a second skin worn over a living body, a comb that opens the door, a seam that only yields on the new moon, and forty-nine days before the theft can seal forever. Beauty, hunger, and the quiet terror of living someone else’s life from the inside.

I’m planning to make a whole film from this story, but I’m not sure how far it’ll go — that’s what I’m working on now. In a way, this text is a screenplay.

我打算根据这个故事拍一整部电影，但不确定能做到什么程度——我现在就在做这件事。从某种意义上说，这篇文本也是剧本。
