Imagine Soap after “Alone” mission at Alejandro’s safehouse. He’s sitting on the floor with a medical kit focusing on cleansing his arm wound. Then suddenly someone gets in the way of light and covers it. Soap doesn’t need to raise his head to see who’s came up to check on him. He already knows it’s Ghost. So he continues to work on his wound, smiles a little bit and asks: -- Here to get your gratitude kiss, Lt? He’s not a damsel in distress, mind you. But he’s alive thanks to Ghost, obviously. And they both know it. So, Simon definitely deserves a kiss. Or several.

Hear me out! I promise you’ll like it! So, it’s a first sleepover at Soap’s apartment. Perhaps, they ended up at Soap’s place after a bar or something. And eventually they go to sleep together, but because Ghost hasn’t yet got used to the surroundings, he has trouble falling asleep in a new place. Also, Soap’s bed is too soft and comfortable for his liking, and in the middle of the night he just decides to move to the sofa or to the floor. (Soap may or may not feel that, but either way he decides not to focus on it). Then the morning comes. Soap wakes up and finds out that he’s the only one in the apartment. Ghost is nowhere to be found. Naturally, the realization makes him sad, but before he has a chance to ask himself what could have gotten so wrong, he hears the main door opening. He leaves the bed and rushes to the door only to run into Ghost, who, indeed, has been out, but returned with groceries including a box of tea. I’m pretty sure Soap’s kitchen cabinets are miserably empty. And even if they aren’t, he hasn’t got any tea. (Maybe instant coffee at best). Ghost never intended to leave without saying a word. But the man has to have a cup of tea for breakfast, obviously 💀 🇬🇧
