DefiantStudio is entering a new chapter.

Over the past months, the project has been much quieter than it should have been. Now it is finally time to restart — but not simply by going back to the old formula.

We are also happy to introduce Luca, our new Art Director, who will lead DefiantStudio into this new phase.

Luca has a very different vision for the project and strongly believes in quality over quantity.

His goal is to gradually move DefiantStudio toward a more carefully curated approach, with greater attention to image quality, consistency, composition, detail and the overall identity of every collection.

This new creative direction will also eventually mean fewer, more carefully crafted releases and more focused galleries, rather than pursuing volume for its own sake.

However, this transition will not erase what came before.

Before moving fully into the new DefiantStudio, we want to take care of the content and benefits that were left unfinished during the previous period.

Two galleries that were previously shown only as previews will finally be released in full, starting very soon.

In addition, some members were entitled to custom Request Sets that were not completed during the inactive period.

We have not forgotten about them.

Over the next few days, eligible members will be contacted individually so that we can review, confirm and schedule any outstanding requests.

Existing commitments will be honored.

If you are one of those members, you do not need to contact us yet — we will reach out to you directly.

Once this recovery phase is underway, we will also explain how the future DefiantStudio membership will evolve under Luca's new creative direction. Any changes to memberships and future benefits will be communicated clearly before the new structure is introduced.

And this will not be the only change.

Over the coming months, DefiantStudio will gradually begin exploring new formats, original characters and a closer look behind the creative process itself.

This is the beginning of a longer evolution of the project.

We know this new direction will be different from what came before, but we believe it can make DefiantStudio better, more creative and much more sustainable for the future.
