I hope everyone is having a good New Year so far.

This month my main focus has been updating the Character Reading Orders, starting with Marvel. You can see the progress being made on the Updates page. Also a reading order for the small Marvel event Imperial was posted on Patreon.

This upcoming month I plan to continue working on updating the Character Reading Orders, my goal is to complete more of them than were done in January. Also since all the issues for the Age of Revelation event are out a reading order will be coming for that in February.

This is a shorter update but January was probably the month I spent the most time working on the site in literally years. This is all made possible by the support of the Patreon members, for which I am eternally grateful. If you like the work being done on the website please consider signing up for the Patreon, every little bit helps.

Thanks again and I will be back in a month with another update.

You’re killing it man, I like this so much better than the old style, I think there’s much more value. Have you given any thought to possibly doing 6 month updates for the master reading orders since you’re doing this new format? I know that I’m not the only one that pulls books and holds them until your reading order is updated, I know you like to generally wait, but it would be cool to get like a master order update every 6 months, so you can read and catch up before the next update, just an idea. Happy to keep supporting you man, the site and Patreon are awesome! Thanks for all you do!

Comic Book Reading Orders

It is definitely something to consider. Rather then strictly once a year it might work out if there are natural break points, for example I do plan to do a mini-update to the DC All In reading order in a few months because they are rebranding to DC Next Level, so once that hits I'll finish the DC All In era. Another natural break might be big events, they sometimes make it easy to tell what is pre-event and post-event. For example the X-Men comics with Age of Revelation was a break point for the X-Men comics. This summer Marvel is doing a big Armageddon event, that might provide a line-wide breakpoint that could make an update easier.
