Welcome to another monthly update.

This month saw the release of reading orders for the Winter Soldier and Invincible on Patreon. I was also working on an member requested reading order for the DC villain Onomatopoeia. When the request was made I looked up the character and swore that the character had around 70 appearances but when I went to make the reading order I found that they actually had less than 40 appearances. Since the reading order was going to be so small, but because it was still a request, I decided to just put it straight on the website: Onomatopoeia.

Also posted on the website was a reading order for Doctor Who comics published by IDW. This reading order was made and submitted by a Patreon member so a huge thanks to them.

I also started making headway on the Contact form messages, going through them for suggestions and reading order fixes. When I get a message about a mistake in a reading order or a suggestion for better placement of issues I research it and make changes if they are warranted. You can see the results on the Updates page. This is why I encourage you to use the contact form if you find a mistake or think there is a better order for some issues. Overtime the reading orders become better and better as a result of community effort. I still have a couple hundred messages I'm working through, starting with the oldest, so don't be worried if your issue doesn't get resolved immediately.

Other then that I have been working on just improving the site overall. This includes going over reading orders and fixing spelling mistakes and formatting issues, updating layouts, etc. This work is ongoing.

For upcoming projects I plan on updating the Star Wars (Marvel) reading order. Since Marvel has basically stopped publishing Star Wars comics it feels like a good time to make the reading order "complete", at least until Marvel starts publishing issues again. I'm also starting to work on an update to the Spawn reading order. Another project is going through every reading order and making sure all volume numbers are correct and correspond to the volume numbers on the Marvel and DC wikis. I know there are several specific characters who have wrong volume numbers but I'm going to do an overview of every character and reading order.

Thank you to all Patreon members for another month of support. As always if you have a reading order suggestion feel free to post it in the comments or use the Contact form.

I have a possibly strange question. In addition to your reading orders for events and characters in DC and Marvel, would you ever do any for objects? I ask because the other day I was wondering what all the stories and events for the Infinity Stones were.

when will the master reading orders be updated on the website? Marvel 15 and DC All In are still patreon only while character ones created around the same time have been uploaded so just curious

Comic Book Reading Orders

Yes I have thought about it, specifically in regards to the Infinity Stones and following them as they are passed around the Marvel Universe. I'll add this to my list of reading orders to work on.

Comic Book Reading Orders

Currently my plan is for Part 15 and DC All In to be Patreon exclusives until the next parts of the Master reading orders are complete. Generally a new part comes out a year after the previous part.

Hey brother, I noticed there are 2 issues added to Marvel Part 1 but I can only determine one addition (Tales of Suspense #40) Could you reveal the mysterious second?! Please and thank you!

Comic Book Reading Orders

It was only 1 issue added (Tales of Suspense #40), in my notes I had a note to add Scorpions first appearance to Amazing Spider-Man #20, I must have seen "Add" and added another issue to the counter. Looking at it now it seems the actual number of issues in Part 1 is 955, I'll have to go over the Master Reading Orders in a day or two to double check all the issue counts.

I appreciate the reply, thank you! Curiosity was taking over heavy hahaha
