Stephen I couldn’t help , (as a cricket fan since about 1989) but be offended when you asked if they were playing baseball 😉 🤣. I don’t blame you for not getting the jokes at the beginning there were so many references you wouldn’t get if you’ve not watched cricket . It’s brilliant maybe watch a video about it 😅. I’ve watched this episode and the next episode the most . The next is my favourite .

I must be getting you two mixed up with M&J, I'm sure they did a reaction video to cricket and someone sent them a cricket ball. Which is red... Bowlers will rub one side of the ball (usually on their trousers) to polish one side, leaving the other rougher for a bowling technique. The episode where Richie and Eddie looked after the shop, it was cricket they were watching from the roof.

The bit about Ted Rogers...he was an old comedian and TV Host and he hosted a gameshow for years called 321! And he used to do the fast fingers that Richie was doing...it was massively popular during the 80s!

They were playing cricket - polishing the ball, white outfits, umpire and rik mentioning the wicket, "hoovering stuff with the bat" and the stumps Oh and eddie was umpire

Cricket was regarded as the Gentleman's game, played by the posher gentleman years ago. We had a saying if something is not fair or unjust, the phrase "That's just not Cricket" was used. Not so much now though.
