Here's an early access on my Tabaxi Bard Soma but in the style of Marvel Rivals (for those in the Red Study but are not familiar with this OC of mine, I have posted about him here before 😳😳😳😳😳)
Basically he's gone from a humble youth to a star bard that has gone through the ins and outs of his kingdom's entertainment industry. Both the glamourous... and the insidious. And boy does he know much about the insidious bits. Hardened him to be a stoic but insanely assertive type. He's a grumpy dad, that's what he is. He's also a RAGING DILF. His brithday is in the next in-game month, I am SO excited because it's going to be full of OLD MAN YAOI 🐓
He specializes in deception and illusion in the form of clone jutsu, and he can cast pretty mean Thunder magic through the power of his percussion skills. So naturally how I imagine him in Marvel Rivals, he's the Strategist role, a healer. But he's the type to only heal allies behind him in a comp, made to be part tanky (though he can't heal himself) so he can jump into the front lines for that positional healing. He won't be able to see who he's healing, but as long as he stays in the heat of the battle, the rest of the gang can get supported.
It also means that the onus of responsibility for healing gets really really shaky, because the dynamic relationshop between DPS, Tanks, and Supports would naturally get super wierd if said Support heals at an inverse direction as normal. Soma's playstyle also might not gel with playstyles that are more careful. He works in a dive comp, so if no one goes as aggressive as he does it's gonna be a bad time.
There's a few more characters in Marvel Rivals style that I want to post about, but this is the one that I finished!!!! And speaking of which......

PERSONAL UPDATE: To those of you who are paid members of my Patreon—thank you for being incredibly patient with me these past few weeks.
I’ve been in a weird mental space, and as I work on mending that, I’ve been taking things slow—especially with art. But even in the middle of all that, I still want to be present. I want to follow through on what I set out to do. Like all my WIPs. (There are… a lot of them.)
I’m not sure I’ve found my rhythm yet—it hasn’t been long since I started here—but I’m going to keep posting what I can, when I can. And what when I do, what I'll post will be progress, completions, and explorations of ideas I care about.
I appreciate every one of you who’s here. Whether you’re active, lurking, or silently supporting—it truly helps more than you know.
Thank you.
